You can use aftermarket but have to wire in all the evap

It’s absolutely insane how much California controls everything you do. I live in oregon and most of the state doesn’t even have emissions, and the parts that do aren’t tyrants like you’re describing. If they ever get anything like Cali I’ll move elsewhere

i dont see why you cant run the k24, you could still run the k20z1 ecu if im correct its just re using all the sensors that the ecu required to run it off and theres adapter for the throttle body so you can run cable throttle body on k24 intake manifold

You must have not been to bar , they are strict in California, you may be able to get away with it where your from but not here in cali , I’ve done k24 with stock Ecu in my video and it was denied , even with no check engine lights and monitors set

@@rarewitit7899 bar seem to only exist in california,you only mention about the drive by wire system but didnt know it was that strict but damn , how could people able to get away with running k24 on there 8th gen si. but then again the k20 high revving nature is still fun to drive specially in a small chassis
