Thanks again for sharing such an interesting and beautiful trekking vlog. That place like much more other locations reminds me of how our island were thousands of years ago. The nice, quiet and almost clean surroundings try to compete with all those amazing and fantastic views, especially those drop down cliffs and caves. Safety is imperative when trekking along such dangerous places. I really enjoyed it a lot as the quality of the video is perfect and the majestic colorful views are really delightful. Well done Pierre keep safe and give us more of these pleasureful experience. 👍👍

👌Great trekking experience, admit gave me some vertigo feelings but with not exceeding one's own limits and leaving no trace along the path, a true local amazing place to visit. Yes, those hooks maybe used either fpr bird trapping or most probably to hang fish traps made from cane bamboo and lowered into the abbyss.....not my favourite for sure. Thanks again bully ✊

Yes, Malta is small but as you said, always something new to see there and hidden treasures to find. Another great video.

Thanks Pierre for the lovely video everywhere on that part of Malta is fantastic. Regarding those hooks in the rock my cousin once told me that the locals somehow pass a line from one side of the cliff to the other side and on that line somehow slide their fish traps (nassa tal vopi) further out from the cliff and then they somehow lower them in the water to catch fish. I think the place was called ( il Qaws) I am not sure if it’s the same place where you showed us. I never saw them how they do it but that’s what my cousin explained how they do it to me. If you ever come across some local fishermen ask them about it. Thanks. Sahha Dejjem.

Love that coast, I walked to the bend few years back, but always wondered if there was a connection to dingli further on many say 8ts all private, Thanks I will go over and check that Englishman out !! Sounds interesting

Thanks Steve, yes it is altough a bit tricky

I had the same question , i have read many reports that there is no route from Dingli to this point and one must stay to the main roads, the area is private i read.

Thanks for the walk. I enjoyed it... Glad it was just me joining te vlog... Cause I'm afraid it would be a bit too close to the edge for me.

Another beautiful video Pierre. Some risky edges but your use of the extender for the GoPro really gives us spectacular views. Thank you.

One of the best areas to trek. As far as I know those hooks are used by fishermen to tie their fishing equipment.

Someone later told me these are for MC Adventures Zipline and other maybe be as you say but normally the fisherman type are different and not made from stainless steel and glued in

Hooks are probably for the Zip line. They stretch a metal cable from the opposing ends and slide over it. Location and elevation are perfect for it.

Later I remembered that MC Adventure makes a zipline there

Pierre thank you for your last two vlogs. You really captured the true beauty of the natural landscape and habitat of our beautiful small island.just a query do they still do fishing on the cliffs hanging from ropes .Back in the days when we used to around that area hiking we used to watch them swinging from rope to rope (very dangerous).Keep on coming we all appreciate your dedication to bring us these amazing vlogs and remind us what we are missing.Saha and keep safe.

Grazzi Ray, i saw people fishing from above but not below , not sure if they still do this. But a fisher told me a story of a boy who died there trying to go near his father. He fell to his death and ended near his father .
