DIY - Arranging Golu Steps | Time Lapse

Dusshera is a festival celebrated over a period of 10 days and Godessess Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswathi are worshipped and also it is celebrated for the victory of good over evil.In SouthIndia, we have the practice of arranging dolls of different kinds of Gods, goddesses, animals, humans etc in steps.Arranging the steps is a time consuming work which needs careful planning and lot of effort and usually we arrange in odd numbers like 3, 5,7,9 etc. Golu steps are available ready-made in stores but I always prefer to customize according to my need and do it myself with available things at home every year with the help of my family.I have just shown the arrangement of my golu steps this year at my house. Hope you'll have fun watching it😊

Usually I keep few dolls on each step immediately after spreading the dhotis on the steps... The weight of the dolls will keep it in place... For the sides I use safety pins or cellotape

After that we keep in random order...no particular order followed in our family...everything is in our mind ...so don't keep judging others..you are free to follow your way of arranging the dolls
