My papa died from Alzheimer’s. The last two years of life he lit up when he saw me because I looked just like my Nana when they were married. He would call me “Margie” and ask me for ice-cream while telling me how proud he was of their kids (including my mom). This song hits hard….he wouldn’t remember where he was but when he saw me/Nana…he remembered the good times
