Great song and great band! All parents should want these things for their children. For them to be happy and safe, to take chances and dream big, but to not be hurt by this crazy world we live in. Some parents are too selfish to have hopes and dreams for their children because they only want for themselves. So if you're the child of a parent who didn't or doesn't raise you up I will! You are worth everything, you are smart and strong, you are capable! Don't ever be afraid to ask for help when the load gets too big to carry, and always help others when you get the chance! This song has a very special meaning to me. It was my song to my sister who, struggled with addiction (my whole family did) and spent meany years in and out of prison. She finally got clean, as did the rest of us; unfortunately, she went to be with my mother and father in heaven when she was just 49 years old. I am so grateful she knew this was my song to her. I am blessed to have them all as my guardian angels now. We were a small family. Just the four of us as my brother passed before my sister and I were born. I even had this song as my ring tone until after she passed. Her passing was very unexpected but that story is for another time. Thank you for doing this reaction! God Bless!!

As a group we sang it at a dance recital when I was a kid. We made all the moms cry. It was such a great moment from my childhood. It’s still one of my moms favorite songs.
