My firstborn grandchild just turned 18 this week. My son has alienated me and all his side of the family so I haven’t seen or talked to him for 8 years (briefly texted. In 2020 when I was able to sneak my phone number to him). He was 16 but really wanted to see me again. We had a strong bond for 10 years. Anyway, I thought I was probably blocked from his phone but I took the chance to text him a happy birthday and dedicate this song to him. To my surprise, I wasn’t blocked (by my son, his dad) and he did read it! No response….but I’m so happy that I was able to have this song reach him and say all the things I wish I could say to him in person…just says it all! Perfect song!

Got married in September 2019 and it was EXTREMELY hard picking a mother and son dance that fit. I heard this song and started balling my eyes out. My mother has always supported my sisters and I and have always been there every step of the way I thought I was gonna be okay but as soon as we stepped out onto the dance floor in Bulverde, TX I lost it. This reminds me off what my oldest brother who raised me wanted for me. I loved my older brother and still love him. He was the coolest guy ever. He raised me until my dad came back into my life randomly. He banished him from my life and I haven’t talked to him since. 10 years have gone by and this sound like what he told me before he moved away. Now I found him online and I’m so proud of him for now he has his own family

This my friends, is what you call "Nostalgia"! I was born in 2004 and this is the kind of Country I grew up listening to. Old school Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, The Dixie Chicks, Garth Brooks...etc! Rascal Flatts is my all time favorite trio and this is the song that started it all for me as a fan when I was probably around 2 or 3 yrs old around 16 or 17 years ago.

ive had a really horrible week struggling with anxiety/depression and feeling really lonely and randomly looked on my shazam to see another song i forgot the name to and seen that this one was on my list amd the day i shazamed it was 12/28 which is my dads bday he passed away in 2010 but when things like this happen i really feel like hes sending me signs to comfort me and let me know hes still there. this is really inspiring to me i just had to share. amazing song.

When I heard this song the first time my heart knew right then that this is exactly how I feel & what I would say to my now 14 yr old granddaughter. Especially now because I was diagnosed a week ago with pancreatic stage 4 cancer & my expected time left is 4-5 months. Which means life as I know now will become an empty wish an what I took for granted of being there for her as she went thru all the milestones in her beautiful life, will soon b gone from me. So because of this unfortunate mountain that has now been put in my life I dedicate this wish to her an I pray she not only hears but feels deep in her heart how much I love her & how much every word in this song she will put it in her lifes choices an follow her dreams to the fullest. I love you Mailey Bear💜
