I feel so honored that you chose to share such personal & moving things about yourself with this community - & my hope is that you will get NO negative backlash for this! I continue to struggle with the whole concept of forgiveness, so anything you have about that would be very helpful.

Hell'z yeah I hear you. Thanks for sharing. It validates that there can be authentic reasons I don't feel super awesome about some people. It's okay to not love everyone, and I do practise forgiveness. It's about finding balance, not building giant walls but still having a safe fence. That may not have been your intended message but that's what it made me think of. Thank you sis

Rashawnda you are such a gift! And your voice is soooo soothing. All my triggers just kept settling down as you spoke 😅. I really thank God for you and I'm super glad you got support and your Mum got help. QUESTION If you don't mind sharing 1. How to graciously communicate your boundaries. 2. How to handle those you can't necessarily have boundary conversations with because it would just be a mess, trigger and waste of time. 3. Could you share on how to deal with the friction and guilt of having boundaries that some people once close to you catch feelings about. 4. How to unapologetically stand by your boundaries and peacefully walk away from anyone who simply doesn't understand.

I’m so grateful to have come across your channel. I love to learn from black women, and I especially love this type of content that centers around loving yourself and healing. Thank you so much for creating content like this 🤍 In your video you mentioned how you had an unhealthy relationship with your mom, I do too. I am in therapy now for all the trauma I experienced. I’m realizing that I don’t desire a relationship with my mother, nor her time and attention. I really don’t want to dump on you at all, I just want to ask if you have any advice on dealing with unhealthy mother daughter relationships? How did you regain the courage to fix your relationship with your mom?

Thank you for sharing your story. I've been doing therapy about 5yrs and learned a lot. But, when do you think therapy ends up being a crutch vs a helpful aid?
@RashawndaJames3 жыл бұрын
Great question. Of course this is just my opinion. Therapy can be a crutch if you are not working on applying things you learned from therapy, only processing things with your therapist without trying on your own, and building your support network. Of course, there are other factors, but I hope this is helpful.
@521Mika3 жыл бұрын
