June 13, 2004 - After being mired by foul trouble and plantar fasciitis through the first three games of the 2004 NBA Finals, it turned out to be Los Angeles Lakers reserve forward Slava Medvedenko who served as the catalyst for waking Rasheed Wallace from his slumber. Slipping in a stray elbow to Wallace's midsection midway through the third quarter of Game 4, Medvedenko beared the brunt of the response, with Wallace targeting Medvedenko in the post in the mini-altercation's immediate aftermath.
In all, Wallace finished with a team-high 26 points, 13 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 steals, and 2 assists in an 88-80 win, placing the Pistons squarely on the brink of earning their third NBA championship in franchise history.

1:28 Rasheed Wallace was essential in this clip! Yet, Chauncey Billups was the Perfect 1 Man off ball during this run. He's giving Rip Hamilton all the ques but keeping Rasheed in the limelight. Even when he doesn't have the ball he is transitioning motions with his hands. This Pistons Team had it all with Big Ben, Tashaun Prince in this. They all brought key factors.

@@lp3860 the 86 Celtics are one of the greatest teams of all time. It was beautiful to watch them play. I loved watching the Bad Boy Pistons as well. Same with the 90s Bulls, the 90s Knicks, and the late 80s to early 90s Cavs (very underrated team). Same with the 2000s Spurs, the Bad Boy 2.0 Pistons, Kobe and Shaq and then just Kobe and the Lakers, etc. However, the difference between me and you is I continue to respect greatness. If you can’t respect the Big 3 Heat and the battles they had with the Celtics and Pacers, or the Cavs/Warriors series in 2016 and 2017, or the Raptors run in 2019, etc, etc, I don’t know what to tell you. You’re not a fan of basketball or greatness. You’re a fan of specific eras and will do anything you can to disparage other eras because in your mind, it makes your favorite era somehow better. Sad.
