I definitely detest all the name calling that's barraged on her, but time and again she's shown how un-rooted (if that's a word) she has been. - She'd named Yash (before KGF was released) as Mr.Showoff/build-up star in an interview with Rakshit Shetty. That had irked many as Yash was already the darling of Kannada masses by then. - Her broken engagement with Rakshit made another dent in her popularity. Kannada fans loved their chemistry in the movie and in real but were disappointed (apart from a heart broken Rakshit Shetty) when the two parted ways, despite amicably. The fact that Rakshit being a thorough gentleman and Rashmika easily moving on (with Vijay D) made matters worse. Till date Rakshit has had zero love affairs apart from this one. - and the final blow was her hesitancy to acknowledge her debut from Kannada Industry. Kirik Party was a huge hit. So the masses can't get over disloyalty.
