In the 1970s my husband had a killer engineering lab and his partner was from India. At the UW-Madison there was a large enough Indian population they would rent a Bollywood movie and show it in one of the big lecture halls. We were invited and were two of the only non-Indian people there. The movie had English subtitles but we knew they were not exact because everyone would be laughing and we didn't get it, or there would be a long speech and the subtitle would just say "Yes, mother". It was similar to RRR in that it had EVERYTHING, romance, car chases, martial arts, crime and song and dance. Bollywood and Tollywood really give you your money's worth.

If you pay attention to the RRR interval scene, you'll notice that the hand of fire is positioned above the hand of water, indicating that they have never met. This is because water falls down due to gravity, while fire rises due to its lower density. However, in the jail breakout scene, the hands are positioned in the opposite way, with water falling down and fire rising up, which allows the two elements to connect.

I don't watch movies with subtitles because I am a slow reader, but I am sick and wanted to watch something I had not seen with you yet, so I gave it a try. This is an awesome movie, I only got a few words at the beginning but found myself not even needing them, I got what was going on. I am shocked how good this movie is. I loved it and watching you. This was also edited perfectly, I felt as if I saw the entire movie.

I am so glad you watched this! I prefer the English dubbing in the version I watched over the one Cassie watched, as Ram's voice is much deeper in the version I saw, but she did it right anyway with the unmatching subtitles. This movie is amazing, somehow, even being so over the top in almost every way possible. The "over the topness" in some of the previews is what kept me from seeing it initially, but this movie is so good in so many unexpected ways. I love it and I share it with everyone now. Thank you for this unexpected viewing, PiB. I wish Carly was there to have watched it too.

As someone who understands Hindi, and have watched the telegu version as well. The telegu version is the best, second in line is Hindi because I don't have to rely on subtitles and dubbing is done by the original actors ,which in turn retains the emotions. But the English dub is shit, has no emotions and makes it more funny than emotional, especially if you have seen it in its native language or Hindi.

Since you seemed to enjoy this so much, I highly recommend Bahubali 1 & 2 - they're by the same director and they're again, epic romance/adventure/revenge movies, think like Hamlet meets LOTR but with a bigger focus on romance. I legit think you'll love those movies, but be ready to settle in for a nice long movie, i think they both go for about 2h45mins or something close, so maybe better to watch on a rainy day or snowy weekend at home but imo absolutely worth watching.

50:10 Both Ram and Bheem are modern historical figures as depicted in movies but they are also inspired from ancient Hindu epic characters of Shri Rama (from Ramayana Era) and Mighty Bheem (from Mahabharat Era) that's the reason why Bheema can lift motorcycle because according to Mahabharat, Bheema can crush mountains and 🐘 with his single punch. And Rama dressed liked that statue (idol from where he gets his 🏹) of ancient Indian Rama. You should read the lyrics of song playing in background music in last forest battle. That score describes the characteristics of both ancient epic figures.❤️.❤️.

I dont know how emotional were you when you watched it for the first time... But i cried like a baby when i saw rrr for the first time. The goosebumps were: 1. The bgms 2. Malli's mom when she was beaten by the wood 3. Ram's FIRE intro 4. Bheem's WATER intro 5. Fire and water inside of the sea when they rescue the kid from the burning train 6. Jennys intro ( I always thought jenny as air element in this movie, shes always blown this theme like air with her cuteness and beauty) 7. Malli and Bheem at Scott's mansion (Cried when watching) 8. Lacchu's snake catching with that beat and threw at ram 9. Bheem saved ram and tells his back story 10. Bheem's entry at Scotts mansion at the party with all the animals 11. Ram finally caught the sheferd Bheem (Cried and confused thet why ram gets heel turn) 12. Rams total back story part one (then got satisfied) 13. Komuraam Bheemudo song (Got angry on ram and cried like a baby for bheem to the end of this song) 14. While saving bheem ram gets a tree end stabbad at his back and Bheem nearly killed Ram at the battle field 15. Ram is getting caught and exercising at the cell 16. Seeta gets beaten by the police (Cried and got angry like a man and wanted to kill the bastard) 17. Seeta telling bheem ram's total story Which was Venkatesh rama raju had became man bomb for the nations freedom and gave his life, Ram had to kill his own father for the promise, lost his younger brother mother and father at the same situation ( I imagined seeta as earth element in RRR, she was so supportive from the childhood like mother earth is supportive to us for living in this world) (cried again) 18. Bheem's promise to seeta (Yes more crying) 19. Bheem saved ram and the final fight 20. Killing General Scott and his wife. (Satisfied with the epicness) THANK YOU Rajamoili NTR jr RamCharan Ajay Devgan

The genre of the movie would, probably, be Historical Fantasy. Both the characters of Ram and Bheem are based on famous revolutionaries from different times. The movie explores the possibilities if they had lived at the same time. The Governess who "bought" Mali was played by Alison Dowdy. She,also, played the German woman doctor love interest, Elsa, in Indiana Jones band the Last Crusade.
@ravitejaknts Жыл бұрын
No, they are from the same time. But they never met each other. Before they started freedom fighting, they were missing for some years at the same time. There is no history about them in that time. This movie just made fiction out out of what if they met each other in that time period.

To be fair this happened on the orders of one Colonel and was condemned by the British parliament. Churchill said it was "unutterably monstrous" and Asquith described it as "one of the worst, most dreadful, outrages in the whole of our history". Parliament subsequently voted 247 to 37 against Dyer and in support of the Government. Not making excuses for anything that happened, just pointing out that the British were just as justifiably disgusted by this as anyone else.

Tollywood films are known to "genre-bend" a lot of the time, and as such are often called "masala" for their genre, as masala's got a little bit of everything in it. ;-) And yes, I love me a good Tollywood masala film!
