I'd hopefully package a deal to move kucherov for Dahlin. Tampa sends kucherov, Johnson, McDonagh and Ben Thomas + 3 first round picks to Buffalo: *Callahan to NYR *NYR send a 7th 2020 to Buffalo *Buffalo sends Dahlin, Samuelsson, Linus Weissbach, 5th 2020, 5th 2022, 3rd 2019 + a conditional 2nd 2020 to Tampa (Gives Tampa room to go after Karlsson and resign everyone!) Buffalo could move 7th and a future pick w/ Chicago for Bowen Byram @no. 3 overall a projected 25 to 30 goal scoring defenceman

This kid had a truly Special season. I don’t think people realize How special it was due to the sabres Being awful in second half. Corsi of 57 as a 18 yr old dman that’s insane. D is the harder position when you’re young and be adjusted to living the ice and the league with men like it was nothing. Of course he made mistakes all dmen do but he was insanely skilled and tried crafting his game as the year went on, I mean you won’t see another 18 yr old dman in this league getting 44 pts and averaging 21 mins a game in a long time I’m guessing. Was the Second best scoring 18 yr old dman ever even ahead of Orr. Not saying he will be ahead of Orr just saying the stat was. Him and Eichel are truly special players that I think the league is going to find this out really soon. I know the league knows their both good but I truly feel the media and most fans don’t know how good they both are.

Rasmus "Smooth Like A Motherfucker" Dahlin. What a guy, what a talent! Makes my mouth water with his skating and poise, have we ever seen an 18 year old D-man play like this in the NHL?

Bobby Orr var bättre när han var 18 🙂
@storkuken15 жыл бұрын
@RedRisotto5 жыл бұрын
@@sos5684 Back then, you could have a couple of beers, hot dogs and a few JD shot or two between periods. Orr would have hard time keeping up skating with an elite Junior team today. It's a different sport now.
@storkuken15 жыл бұрын
@@RedRisotto I agree! However, i think Bobby Orr had enough talent to be a beast in todays game as well! The big difference in todays game is that talent alone wont make you a great player, you need too work hard, and train hard, to develop into a succesfull athlete.

I hate the saying "X wasnt doing what Y is doing when X was Z age." Well ofcourse not. Hockey is evolving. In 20 years, the rookies will be doing stuff that Rasmus wasn't doing at 18. The elite has to come up with new ways to play, the rookies simply watch an learn and add weapons to their arsenal. So when time arrives, they already know something that took years for others to figure out.
Great player but he needs to stop making misstakes

He has a risky style of play, and he takes many chances other players wouldn't. I usually don't like players like that. However he can sometimes be looked at as an exception. He is more than good enough to do so, and he will keep growing and become better over the years. Sometimes he will face consequences and other times he will produce unexpected magic.
