Thank you for your video. Unfortunately there seems to be some kind of bug in the current version of Raspberry Pi Imager where when you set all the settings like WiFi, SSH, username and so on it will get stuck booting with Raspberry Pi OS 64 Bit on a Raspberry Pi 5 at the point where it shoud initialize USB devices, tried both Linux and Windows 11 and several microSD cards. If nothing is set in the imager, it works fine, same with Raspberry Pi OS with GUI, but for a server this is not the kind of system I want for obvious reasons. Having to check with my Pi 4B, however, this is currently in use as my server.

Thanks for letting me know. I don't currently have a Pi 5 to test this out but I will look into getting one and seeing if I can figure it out.

Hey nice video. Can you stream 4K HDR movies on this except on the 4 gig version with plex media server installed without any problems?
@k9swx5 ай бұрын
I have not tried the plex server nor do I have any 4K HDR movies to experiment with. I will have to tinker with it down the road and see how it performs.

How do I find the IP address if I don't have a monitor?
@k9swx2 ай бұрын
You could try Fing which scans your network. www.fing.com/fing-app/ You could also try pinging the hostname which by default is “raspberrypi”.

I just logged into my router and found the device that way. The router will list all network devices that are attached.
