I would make the prongs on the blue piece a little bit longer and probably add channels to the opposite piece to guide those prongs, to ensure that the USB breakout board doesn't fall off or wiggle left and right, without having to use hot glue.
@OneOfDisease7 жыл бұрын
the soldered wires on the breakout board will soon break. you should have hot glued them too.

Will do that.

Surely as the pins are just direct contact you could use the data port without issue as long as the USB isn't plugged in at the same time.

+Seytonic Is there any way for it to show up as two USB Mass Storage devices? I want to have one 5GB USB with reading only set with some important documents, and then on the other one, I want to have 10GB for anything and that would be read and write... I've already gotten the read only one working, but I don't know how to get to USB's to show up at the same time... :( 5:38AM 8/11/2017

I know this video is 7 years old. I used these things for years with my Mac and loved them.. somewhere along the way the SD cards were robbed and the dongles dropped into a drawer.. Tried setting them up again and can't get it to work. I tried several Pi Zero W's and even tried a Pi Zero 2 W and I can't get any of them to work.. Are there updated instructions somewhere?
