Another great video, thanks! I love the blue- green colour of the thumbnail, and the snow-dusted landscape drone shots are sublime. Nice transition to the cozy crackling fire inside right after. Made me think of the Friendly Giant when he invites you in to curl up by the fire. It’s very peaceful and enjoyable watching your videos. I find I learn something each time, which makes my dream of having my own cabin one day seem that much more possible. June bug looked so happy to be with you stacking wood- her tail was wagging so fast! It was interesting to see how you get/make your drinking water. A question that came to mind while you were showing us was- what happens if it doesn’t rain? And in the winter, do you use/melt snow? Have a wonderful spooky full blue moon weekend with your sweetie. Stay warm and well!

Well Russell,LGD to see you have lol your duck in a row! 😉🤣 Honestly, you need to make regular videos of you taking your ducks out for a paddle. Or do a special feature with them.......it was quite entertaining to watch you paddle with them in tow. Your drone footage and camera work was spot on,my goodness it is beautiful there. I wonder if it is the beavers of the otters putting the sticks out on the platform. One of these days you should fix one of the game cameras to the duck platform and see what happens out there in the dark. I am sad there is no Booxefest tonight,so I had a Guinness to make me feel better.

Hi Russell. During your piece to camera at the start ... in the background there are some downed trees across the pond. Once the pond freezes will you be able to drag them over to cut up for next year ... or are they stuffed / rotten?

Man this time of year is the best time to be out and about as long as there's no week long snowmixed downpours that is! What ever happened with the new battery, did Ray the magnificent ever figure out the issue?

Well now that your ducks are all in a row..lol..you know you could buy a couple of duckies..just sayin...I always feel relaxed as I watch your videos..I wonder if it was hard to adjust from the "normalish" lifestyle... Now that my kids are young adults..and my other half passed... I'm trying to learn to relax...so thanks for sharing...peace

A larger porche maybe? Just sayin'. Easy to say, harder to do ^^. But for having watch quite many of your excellent videos, i did see you moving around stuff on the porch for lack of space. Let's say it is possible, I would include a section within a large screen for bugs season. Otherwise, keep you excellent work and happy new year !

Thanks Pellicule. The size of the porch was limited by where the windows are, though I might have found a way around that eventually.

I see an opportunity for a water purifying company as a sponsor in your future. Our hunting season is almost over and I haven't seen a single deer. If I don't get anything this year it will be the first time I have been skunked in over 20 years. Good luck.

No trout, Roddy. It gets to 11.5 feet deep in a few spots. Through my research it appears that large mouth bass do best in warmer, shallower waters.
