Strong team. I'm glad Moerat is getting another run, especially alongside Nortje. This is a pairing that we expect to get a lot of mileage out of, so let the lads play! Very happy to see Thomas du Toit again, too. He was gigantic in the English Prem and we really do need to fill out our ranks at tighthead prop. Obviously Ox is Ox and that man is simply a carnivore that eats the bones of his victims. Glad to see the experienced heads of Reinach and Pollard to calm things down. Knowing Kwagga and Eben are on the bench, I'm very happy with that. And watch out for Wessels! I am looking forward to see Libbok taking a few kicks. Tony Brown would have worked with him and with any luck, his kicking pains are a thing of the past. Another highlight will be to see the magician Am in the 12 jersey next to probably the best 13 on current form, especially given our new style of play. And yes, to the rugby gods, give Papa Mapimpi a try for his newborn! I know Argentina are a quality side and I'll never underestimate or disrespect them, but so far they have struggled when NZ and Aus fronted up to them physically. With the pack the Boks have, I really don't see them imposing their will on us. Boks by 10-15.

@randomlyfactual1943 cant see anything here that I dont agree with. For me the Springboks build into this game. Pollard controls it from 10 in the first 20 mins and stops Argentina from getting momentum, then as the forwards start to keep the pressure on the expansive game opens a little more. Scoreboard pressure combined with some individual brilliance, and you have your 10-15 pt margin, yes.

Of that squad of 23, only 2 are likely to have aged out by the next World Cup ( Reinach and Mapimpi) Add to those 21 , the likes of Johan Grobelaar, Andre-Hugo Venter, Lood de Jager, Jean Klein, RG Snyman, Pieter Steph, Siya, Evan Roos, Grant Williams, Sasha, Esterhuizen, de Allende, Moodie, Kolbe and Damien Williamse, all of who should still be available and you already have 36 players vying for 33 RWC 2027 places.
