Sometimes a simple bracket is all you need. Looks like it does the job to me.

I heard of rat rods in the past. Thought I knew what it was about. Bin on your channel for some time, now I get it... Very cool!! Not for me to do rite now, but I'm enjoying the ride. Keep the Vid's coming. It took me a while to figure out what your air breathers were... LOL Thanks!

You are absolutely right that it needs to be attached only to the engine. Preach it to those guys. It's a rod, so use rod man and make something really fancy and appropriate for a post Victorian era vehicle. Like something out of Jules Vern or something... The crowing jewel so to speak of your rat-O-router.

Hey just throwing it out there, an old metal yard stick would look kinda cool cause they were etched in there. Also! I finished up that gas can guitar we talked about alil while back, as soon as I get my hands on a video camera I'll show ya!

Okay, so now you got me to thinkin..........Perhaps I should build a ratrod myself. You see, I'm a blacksmith and up until now I never thought of adding blacksmithing details on a vehicle.....HHUmmmm......

Maybe an old "bar" cut up from one of your chain saws rather than that normal flat steel

How about a musical bracket, like a tremolo or sixteenth note? Come on, I know you can do better, but I know you just wanted to try out the split exhaust ASAP!
