Put a set of those on my 77 dodge aspin RT. I did drill holes right in the top of the bumper. I laughed when you said it. Brought back good memories of being 17 again.

yep.. we thought nothing of drilling right into what would now be a pristine vintage bumper

Is that an antique "swamp" air conditioner on the passenger side window? Good job Waylon thet truck looks amazing. Just the thing for an inconspicuous trip to the city. If you did that here in Australia there would be Cops fainting and others fightin' over which one was goin' to ruin your day. Perhaps you've lost some Subscribers when you learnt how to avoid settin' fire to things.

I sympathize with your struggles with tight spaces and unnatural angles. I discovered recently that my left knee no longer allows itself to be knelt on. It expresses its displeasure by feeling like it's being stabbed with a bayonet. So I'm relying on the right one for now, until it learns what the left one is getting away with. "Getting old ain't for sissies." I sometimes think I'm keeping at least one aspirin company in business. And I'm pretty sure I'm keeping at least one coffee grower employed too. I consider it a public service. I'm so happy to see the "Dodge-illac" getting so close to being on the road again. "What color are you going to paint it? " All the best to you.

Hey Ken: As an old, retired, electrician who has used "TieWraps" by the hundreds while wiring motor control centers, I thought you might be interested in knowing/learning about these tools for using "Tie Wraps/çable ties". They tighten and cut off the cable ties in one operation. We would pull the conductors for each controller "bucket", bundle those conductors and begin applying the cable ties to the bundle. Put 5 or 6 right next to each other and pull them "snug". Begin separating the tie wraps (sliding the apart from each other) until you have them spaced 3" to 4" apart. You will notice while doing this that the bundle of wires stays nice and straight without any crosses in the conductors. Once you have them spread out, you go along the group with the gun and it very quickly tightens and cuts off the cable tie. The gun is also adjustable for the different "strength" ties. Here's a quick "link" to show what I'm talking about here. Good to see you have your "Doje'llac" back up and running !!! ;o)

This is a 1925 / 1926 Hudson with the Biddle and Smart aluminum body. I have two 1927 models and they are totally different cars, much less boxy, totally different chassis. A lot of cars got registered a later year than their model year if they didn't sell by years end, so maybe the case here. Looks like a fun car, but needs a Hudson twin H 308 engine ! Oh, and a manual transmission !!! 😁
