This was such a fun video to watch! I am very tempted to get one of these! I love the little walk feature. However I also kind of want to wait to see if they release more shell colors because these particular color schemes/designs don't really speak to me :( I hope they make more colors.

I hear that I really want one so I’m going to just have to get the pink one as I love the clear blue on the back but I like the purple front of the other. If I was rich I’d buy both and swap the fronts over cause purple and clear blue back would defo talk to me. Seems they have aimed them at little girls but they forget the 37 year old married man like me 😂

Where I live this is the most expensive tama ever. I don't really like the design... but what disturb me the most is the battery life... and what will happen to the gameplay when in one or two years bandai will shut the online feature...

I was going to preorder one of these. I'm a tamagotchi collector, kind of; I have every iteration of Japanese Color tamagotchis. I was a little disappointed with the Smart and didn't know if I'd like the Uni since they look the same. Thanks for this video and the review. I hope itll help me decide. :3

Apologies up front for how long this will be lol Super excited and some questions heh Global release isn't quite accurate, and yea, Amazon royally messed things up for sure heh Mine should finally ship tonight or tomorrow morning it looks like so hopefully won't take too long, or end up too damaged, getting to me in Canada. Am sad it sounds like whatever event is happening on the 17th will be missed by many of us with the delays too. 100% with you. Super happy they went back to actual buttons lol Wishing I'd gone with a Japanese one for the normal box but just didn't make sense cost wise unfortunately. I went with purple as it's my favourite colour, though do wish it had the button and backing colour that the pink has but, I plan to have a crochet case on it anyhow. I've stayed away from in depth info until now, seasonal games is super cool!!! I wasn't thrilled with the walking feature though as I work from home and really don't leave the house much anymore so will have to figure out something for that, especially as I planned to never wear it as a watch as I know I'll end up cracking it off stuff all the time LOL Though I might for the dancing game, and definitely count it in my exercise routine hahaha That is the shortest charging cord I've ever seen LMFAO Please tell me we can use longer cables so long as it's not plugged into a fast charging plug or something? I don't have my computer close to where I am most of the time with working from home so really need to be able to charge it elsewhere 🤨 The social media addition is too fun! Will make posting pics to Instagram easier too haha and sooo happy pets are back and crafting is such a cool addition!! And I think I saw the rain through the window?! I really wish they'd have added in gardening or even just the tree planting like in the +C as well, but maybe we'll see additions now with the ability to update software, etc now. I might have missed it but, can you fully remove an item once placed in a room, or once you place one you can only swap between them? Thank you for letting us know where to find the codes master list. I had a couple screenshots saved from the FB group but I'll definitely print that out as well I think! This has definitely made me even more excited for mine to get here!! I might even consider getting a second one when more colours release lol Thank you so much for making this video, can't wait to see further updates!

It is global. Every region that was slated to get the device was supposed to release them at the same time. Whether the street dates were followed is something else entirely. I ordered the pink Uni from Amazon US and the purple Uni with passport from Amazon JP. So far, the US order shipped last night and is supposed to get to me on 7/18 while the Amazon JP order hasn't shipped yet but says it'll arrive in the US between 7/17 and 7/21.

So, you don't actually have to walk for real if you don't want to haha. I know I haven't! 😂 I just start it by shaking it every few minutes and wait for the 20 minutes count down. It works! 😂 For the cord, yes any type C charging cord will work, just make sure you slow charge it and don't plug it directly into the wall. And yes, items can be removed, swapped out, and constantly customized to your taste and preference for a unique experience. :)

What’s with all these butt-hurt people? Bandai has been sending Ra every tamagotchi version they release for decades. He didn’t *just* receive it. He had them a week ago but it takes days to do a review because you have to record a little each day as they evolve, then edit the video and upload it. Which is harder to do when you’re out of town. Hey, here’s a tip… when someone makes a really good video so that you can see all the features and how it works, try having something NICE to say instead of being a turd.

Global release is in huge quotation marks. They will not be released in Canada until Aug 11 :'( still waiting for my jp preorder to ship. So meanwhile, I watch unboxings lol.

No quotation marks. Ra spoke directly with the Bandai rep and she confirmed it’s being released in 40 countries across the whole world. Globally means the WORLD. They’re referring to geography. They never said it would be simultaneous. I’ve been collecting tamagotchis for 26 years, probably before you were in diapers. You just need to learn patience.

I have an Original, as well as Tamagotchi On Magic Green, and Wonder Garden Lavender. From this vid I can see a number of additional things. When it comes to evolving content for the tamagotchi line, they are incredibly slow, adding only small amounts to existing formula. I do like they've now included the online world/park into the game itself rather than needing another deivce to connect to. That site, however, has been rather limited in what could be done. I figured there'd be a lot of things one could do there, many mini games and such in similar way to Neopets. Are those mini games even playable on such a tama device (catching stuff that falls from a tree, and serving tamas at a checkout)?

thanks for the review. The tama is nice, I am a collector and I will get one for sure, but in 2023 I was hoping for something better and new. Features are ok, but the "engine" (menus, animations...) does look very old, they should scrap it and start from the ground.

@@fauxcommander yes, that's also true. I got the app from ios but then, I wish I could connect both and play in both styles. It's not so difficult to "send" a tama outside in your phone and get it in your little egg. 90's and 2023 would live together in peace
