For those wondering, this is absolutely an unreleased original recording performed by Danny back in 2008. It was first uploaded by Credaxi mid last year, with Danny's blessing. When he said in Part 1 of Alien Hominid "yeah, that's not approved by anyone," he meant that it was an unauthorized alternate version of the song he made in his early days, and so might be taken down by Ratatat, not that it wasn't meant to be on KZbin. There are half a dozen threads on the Grumps subreddit about this recording with more info. I hope this clears some things up.
