So this video took a little longer than expected to make. My goal was to focus on songs from the first 5 Ratchet and Clank games. I know not all of them are considered quote "relaxing". If they were at least chill or laid back was my goal to include them. I mean it's ratchet and clank a 3d platformer shooter, most songs are meant to be somewhat intense lol. Nevertheless I hope you enjoy watching :)

@@dylangahagan1487 I think he most likely got sacked because his orchestral style wasn't as organic as Salchow's or Bross'. Edit: He may also have gotten burnt out of composing for the R&C franchise (or video games in general), the games he composed for came out every year from 2002 to 2008 (2006 if you include Resistance: Fall of Man) so it wouldn't impress me since he values the quality of his music over quantity. My theory is that it was for both of these reasons.

There's something gritty about these soundtracks. They sound so massive and spacey but they're not gilded either, there's some darkness and severity to them. I think looking back that's a large reason why I liked the series so much, it had a good balance of tones. Modern R&C games feel a little too safe and bubbly with their soundtracks, but maybe that's just me

My favorite part was finally getting rid of Qwark, me and little sis laughed our butts off when Qwark ejected from his ship. This may be one of the best thing I've seen in my entire life. Whoever you are, thank you for doing this! I cannot begin to tell you how influential this soundtrack has been to my life. And I have my own playlist with the chill songs so the fact you did this AND added visuals .... I love you. Thank you.

Really, Deadlocked focus more action imo, than the previous 3 games, it was fun for sure, and the hardest Ratchet and Clank game for me to beat next to a crack in time lol, the thing that was missing, was Clank. The game's gameplay focused on Ratchet without the need for Clank throughout the story, (for story reasons) Clank was really missing for me, it's my favorite ratchet game of course, but Ratchet and Clank, is really Ratchet and Clank.
