I can relate. This trophy should have been AT LEAST a silver, if not gold. It's the reason why platinuming this game took me as long as it did. It just refused to pop even though I was taking notes of every enemy in the game and crossing them off as I went. I think the blasted tentacle on the train was the last one I needed. By the end I was just playing, spamming the Groovitron on every single enemy and hoping it would pop at some random point. The game's cutscenes made me so pissed that I just skipped them all with no mercy, and I was so sick of the game's music that I turned it all off and listened to my own tunes on Spotify, singing to distract myself even further. My brain was just completely switched off at that point, I was on autopilot. The trophy did pop eventually. At least the game ran like a dream, but I can only say: Never again.

It took me 3 playthroughs as well because on my second I missed the green tenacle on the train for the groveatron. And since it doesn't stack and carry over had to do a whole play through again for a 3rd time.

Played the game in 2016 and spontaneously decided to download it again and do the platinum yesterday - The Rilgar Gold Cup below 1:35 was probably the most difficult one (I never played racing games) and the Death by Disco one took me an entire playthrough of just spamming the Groovitron followed by the Rhino. But in the end I really enjoyed doing the platinum. One of the easiest I've done, but definitely not too easy.

my first platinum is oddly enough sly cooper added on the ps3 in 2014. man time flies like a bullet bill that was over 10 years ago and the crazy thing is i remember playing the game like it was yesterday. on a 1080i tv with a built in soundbar what a time, now i have a sony x80k bravia with a sennheiser ambeo mini soundbar which blows my teenage setup out of the water, feels like it took forever to pay off though.
