Fun fact, the original of this used to be HARDER... as the requirements for the color gems used to be how you get ANY clear gem. And some needed some serious backtracking. On the flip side, bonus routes didn't count to the total. But for some stages, it'd be a nightmare to go through w/o losing a life.

False. It was way easier on the original. Crash's hitbox in the remaster is shaped like a pill rather than a box so he keeps slipping off edges easier.

@@mattd9881 even then, you were allowed to lose a life in all but 6 stages and still get the gem. the original flat out made you restart the entire stage if you died regardless of the stage. the hitboxes are wacky (and the jump does feel weird being the crash 3 one), but you're still given a lot of leniency in the remake.

No lol. It’s just because you’re playing on a Xbox Vs a DS, bigger screen= easier. I could NEVER beat crash on DS back then, now literally as we speak, I’m currently 70% done with the second game in the trilogy in 1 week. It’s much easier on Xb and remastered. It still isn’t easy tho it pmo often. I have to replay some levels 50-70 times but it’s worth it: g

Took me 5 and half years to get the relic on stormy accent. Kept dropping it and coming back. Be prepared for crash 4 because that’s a whole new level of difficulty. Only crash plat I don’t have

Man I managed to finish that shit, but the dyno level and toxic tunnels made me nearly loose my mind doing the platinums. I played through crash n sane trilogy after and it felt like crash 4 on easy difficulty

As I also 100% achievement the remakes, getting the relic for Stormy Ascent was a nightmare. As I finished it, I was in pure shock that I got platinum relic along with the 100% achievement. Such a well worth reward it for me

I also platinumed crash 1, it took me a long time. On the 2nd I did everything except the trophy of getting all the relics. I didn't do the 3rd because after the first two my sanity was at its limit

Ye that was only in the original so thankfully they changed it where Ur able to die to get the gems only exception is the coloured gems which still require u to not die which becomes a pain when u have the red gem on slippery climb

I need some help. I have 102% percent, both keys, all 26 gems (white & colored), all 26 relics gold or better, and my game says I’m only 92% of the way to getting the Platinum Trophy. I have checked what trophies I have, and which ones I don’t. There are only three trophies I do not have : the Platinum trophy, and the two for Stormy Accent. What gives??

Well, I just got the gem on Stormy Accent, and it bumped me up to 95% of the Platinum trophy. I’m guessing they changed it to require the DLC achievements first? This time trial is going to suck….

Don’t ask me how, but I somehow managed to get the Stormy Ascent Platinum Relic on my very first successful run. And the craziest part? My controller was broken; the L1 button and the D-pad were shot, and the left stick was a little wonky as well. To go left, I had to hold the stick at 8:30 ish rather than 9:00. I was just as surprised as you are reading this comment.
