It is at the 60 mark they were just using the PAL version of the game! If you use the NTSC or USA version it will be 60fps

This one is much sharper than the "4k" video that went up recently. it still appears every so slightly squished though, as it stretched to 16:9 when it should be 16:10 or something. look at things in the video that are supposed to be circular it's ever so oval.

It depends on the game but yeah progressive scan usually has a higher resolution and sometimes internal framerate too

Is there a way to configure PCSX2 for it to utilize more cores? Or is a less-core but high-freq is the way to go with this emulator? Because even with the MTVU option on, PCSX2 doesn't use even the half of the CPU (yes, I'm aware that this emulator uses two threads only, that's why I mentioned MTVU). And even in sw mode (both OGL and DX11), it doesn't utilize its stated 16 threads (uses closer to 6-8 threads, by my experience). I always dreamed about a day when I get a high-thread CPU to use PCSX2 in sw mode with 16 threads (I though the max would go up from 16, as it's been that way even in 2015), but now I'm stuck again with low CPU load, and inability to use my hardware to its full potential. =)

@@soundmasterz Sadly, yes, no scalability with modern hardware. I think that adding the ability to use more threads and to "stress" the GPU more (to get those precious fps) would require to rewrite the whole code (or, at least, a major part of it). I wish that it was as simple as adding a string or two, which would've defined the maximum available threads to use - like encoders such as x264/x265 do. =)

i also tested r&c 3 with this emulator specs: pcsx2 version 1.5 dev 3015 EE cycle speed:-2 EE skypping :0 D3d11: hardware interlacing:auto 3x res Crc hack: partial Mimmapping:auto Accurate date: fast Large frame buffer on PC specs: w10 N Amd fx-6300 at 3.5 8fb of ram ddr3 at cl9 i dont remember the brand or speed G: Shapphire r7 270 occafe 2gb It works mostly fine just some slowdowns but it is playable. i have played just about 5 min at the start when it usually stutters and slowdowns a lot and i can see no mayor slowdowns (2-5 fps). I actually have more slowdowns in r&c2 but i also tested it for 5 mins .If the game works like that , it should be just fine ,100% enjoyable. Edit: i am testing r&c gladiator same thing but now it is really playable i have not noticed any visual bugs yet. Avrg fps :44-40 but it still hits 50

@@ps2emulator Surprisingly it actually decreases performance dramatically. I increase the cycle rate to +3 and it does improve it but it's still not perfect. Great work though, seeing improvements in each build so well done to the team either way!
