Tbh i like this model even though the contrast of your voice and seeing a cute anime girl was funny at first. And about the vtuber thing i generally have nothing against it (hey it can even be nice if you want to show expressions but like privacy) i just dislike it when people use overly sexualized characters for clicks or act all like an anime character but you're doing it because you're a fan of the character so i can respect that.

yeah that's basically how I feel as well. I do know a few people personally that use a model simply for that reason (privacy) and I think that's totally understandable. My main complaint just comes down to bandwagoning and leaning way too hard into the persona. For me personally its honestly more of a joke if anything that I'm just having fun with. I've streamed with cam in the past so self-confidence and privacy aren't really an issue for me, but I didn't feel it was adding much to the stream. I'm typically very relaxed so there's no real funny or crazy reactions. One day I decided I wanted to mess around in 3d modeling and I ended up putting way too much effort into making that model to *not* use it, which is good because I do really like how it turned out. I've actually had people tell me they straight up didn't even realize the model was there until something happened, which I guess is kinda what I was going for; not making "haha anime girl!!" the main focus, but rather something that adds to the stream. Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts, I'm glad to hear others are enjoying it.
