My personal favorite level here is the Aquatos sewers. The overall atmosphere feels like what would happen if Ratchet and Clank got crossed with Metroid. Absolutely amazing, and given how some Sony games seem to be bringing in roguelike elements, I'd love to see a level like this getting put in the next Ratchet game (in 2029). Also, Insomniac already did the Warp Gun. The Warp Pad was originally going to be a gun where you warped to where you aimed. The problem was, they didn't think about how game breaking an ability like that would be until just before release, which is why the Warp Pad now comfortably holds the spot of "Most Useless Ratchet Gadget".

Yes that would be amazing for the next ratchet game. And i know they worked on a warp gun and it unfortunately became the warp pad but it's something they never really revisited which sucks imo

So Space Gallions was a cut map from Ratchet: Deadlocked. The name and mini map were things left behind in Ratchet: Deadlocked once the gane got released. The level geometry in this game was custom made. There was not any actual level data for ut so the creator of the fan game had to use his imagination on the level design. Just shows how late into development that had to cut things. There's a ton more stuff that was cut too, such as an 8 legged spider tank cheat (would of made the landstalker have 8 legs instead of 4)

Man it is a damn shame this project won't be completed. It feels like a real continuation of that classic mix of platforming and blow-em-to-hell action that the first 2 games excelled at. I feel like every entry from the PS3 era onward has strayed further and further away from that original feeling, and it's a real bummer that we were robbed of this. I hope whoever created this somehow gets hired by Insomniac and gets to help develop and bring fresh ideas to the next R&C game, because in my opinion the franchise has lost it's way, and this tiny little fan-made game captured more of the series identity and unique magical feel than the actual games have had in 15 years. (and my god, the name is absolute GOLD) I wonder if the creator/s simply lost passion/interest, or were forced to stop for copyright reasons? No matter, this project really deserved some recognition, thanks for making a video on it to spread the word!

I agree. This project is definitely a call back to the old games and the charm they had. I think rift apart was a step in the right direction for the series but definitely no where close to what the PS2 games were.

Aquatos id definitely cool... The warp gun on the other side was actually realised in rift apart as a form of these smaller yellow rifts.

That warp gun reminds me a lot of the original intention for the teleport item from UYA. Originally it was a disk that ratchet would throw from his wrench, it was the last gadget introduced and broke the whole game because of sequence breaks. Really cool to see something as fleshed out as the warp gun, insomniac really should've revisited the idea

So this unreleased content and room was unlocked by collecting all the Golden bolts in RC2 going commando?! I wish i could go back and collect the last 2 or 3 Golden bolts, to enjoy this treat!

No no. This unreleased content was part of an unfinished fan game Caller R&C premature release. There are 2 levels and 6 gold bolts. Once you collect the gold bolts you unlock this room
