Emperor Nefarious is fun, cool, intimidating, and powerful, but diverting your fleets away from your capital spells disaster, that flaw was made by Dr.Doofenshmirtz from the second dimension, Dominus Ghaul from Destiny 2, and Emperor Palpatine

I liked it too. Outside of physical differences, Emperor Nefarious is confident in his abilities and in his control over others where as Dr Nefarious gets frustrated and defensive. When Emperor Nefarious starts to lose, he loses his composure and starts to act like Dr Nefarious.

Considering how difficult Emperor Nefarious found Ratchet's dimension was to conquer, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that he MIGHT be on the same power level as Dr. Nefarious (and sanity level while we're at it). Besides, both Emperor and Dr. Nefarious are psychopathic robotic man-children; the Emperor just acts more "refined" about it, while the Doctor is more self-aware and just embraces the insanity. Perhaps the Emperor actually losing to Rivet for once in the "main" dimension is his own version of what happened with Dr. Nefarious and Ratchet in Up Your Arsenal (losing after so much hard work), and since he NEVER loses in his own dimension, it'd really hit him hard. Though if that's the case, then how "incompetent" (and I use the term loosely) are the people in Rivet's dimension compared to Ratchet's? XD

I agree. Dr. Nefarious definitely is more powerful than we give him credit for. I think it was hinted the reason Rivet never won against the Emperor was because she didn't have her own "Clank." Rivet lost every battle against the Emperor and either had to flee or (As the Emperor implied was a tradition) got captured and sent to Zordoom prison.

Might be interesting to hear your take on the character through the series, highs, lows and improvements etc chief. Thoughts on the reboot, sneaky game nods to Jak and Daxter etc. Was genuinely one of the more interesting members of the Rogues Gallery. Favourite point about the all for one game, was that you could in fact play is Dr nefarious, I mean don't get me wrong the game wasn't all that good, but worth it just for that.

@@MegaDynamiteDan yeah but the concept is the same: the mad scientist in the heroes’ prime dimension uses a device with “Dimension(in)ator” in its name that takes them to a dimension where he is successful. Like Dr. Nefarious, Dr. Doofenshmirtz is laughably evil, while 2nd Dimension Doofenshmirtz is smarter and more evil, and the two team up against the heroes. And then like Emperor Nefarious, 2nd Dimension Doofenshmirtz decides to give conquering the prime heroes’ dimension a try when Drs Nefarious and Doofenshmirtz couldn’t.

Unlike him Emperor Nefarious is more evil and more Darker he especially kills someone on screen and nearly killed Dr. Nefarious when he first met him unlike 2nd Doofenshmirtz. Plus Emperor Nefarious never surrendered but had to be killed because he was to dangerous to be left alive and even Dr. Nefarious is more competent than Donfenscrewup who is a screw up
