Well you gents are wrong. The club world cup isn't utter nonsense. From fans outside of Europe it would be an experience having our local continental teams playing our favourite European teams. In terms of workload fo the players instead of pre-season games we could have the club world in the off-season. The biggest takeaway would be the growth of the football in other continents other than Europe.

We are moving step by step toward a super league of some sort. Many big clubs want this. City challenging the premier league is a win win for a super league . If they lose they can leave and help set up a super league If they win then the biggest clubs will spend what they want so the only meaningful and interesting to watch top competition will be a super league

For me its not about ineos should of known because uefa have changed the goal posts 3 times now, first it was we cant play in the same comp, then it was todibo has to be sold for a fair market value, now its we cant do business with each other cause we're in the same comp! So for me ineos have been led round the garden path being told one thing then another and now another thing completely different! Also just to end on this, ineos own all of nice, they only own around 25% of Manchester united, surely that would mean theres no conflict of ownership?

apparently Savio is being purchased from the French affiliate not Girona.. he was on loan to Girona from the French team also owned by City.. diff is the French team r not in the CL .. it’s just a round about way of beating the rules ..what i don’t get is how the Red Bull grp do transfers between their affiliates all the time but Utd n Nice can’t?

He has resigned. But in order to protect assets and information that’s business sensitive he has to spend an agreed period of time out of work basically so he cannot take that info and such to new employers. Usually Gardening leave is a month or so if you’re moving to a potential “competitor” just so when you arrive anything you know about the old employer would potentially be out of date and not of benefit. Never heard of GL going for 18mkonths tho. You’d think there would be an agreement but Newcastle seem to be sticking to it and not budging so it is what it is. Maybe once this window is done and dans info won’t be of use to United they’ll let him go.
