Fluff´s community definitely has better rigs than most of the celeb guitar players
@mateoottie4 жыл бұрын
Here's who all the rigs are: (Thanks Google, KZbin Comments, and Equipboard!) 1. John Frusciante (RHCP) 2. Jesse Lacey (Brand New) 3. Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains) 4. Dustin Kensrue (Thrice) 5. Mark Tremonti (Alter Bridge) 6. Slash (Velvet Revolver) 7. Josh Travis (Emmure) 8. Phil Keaggy 9. Doug Wimbish (Living Colour) 10. Julien Baker 11. Pete Steinkopf (Bouncing Souls) 12. Adam Jones (Tool) Since everyone was asking, I figured I'd give it a shot! Let me know if there are any mistakes!

The second Rig 1:51 was indeed the band Brand New. I believe the photo is from the rig rundown they did with Premier Guitar. The two amps as well as the pedal board on the top right belong to their guitarist/vocalist Jesse Lacey. If i'm not mistaken the switcher with all the tape on it is a Gig Rig, which Jesse uses to switch his pedals. The two guitars, as well as the pedalboard with the dime wah belong to their guitarist Vince Accardie. Not pictured is the Fender Super Bassman amp Vince uses

Probably others already commented this - Slash's rig is basically simple - he always goes simply into a marshall with an occasional use of some pedals. However - he uses different heads for clean and dirty and all of these heads have backups (maybe there's a backup for the backups as well). So all of those weird gadgets (loopers, switchers, whatevers) serves the sole purpose to be able to use any head with any pedals anytime :)

The John Frusciante rig is mostly justifiable, he uses the Line 6 for “Dani California” and “Throw Away Your Television” not sure why he has two Ibanez WH10 wahs but they’re pretty flimsy they break often. The ds-2 is for the ending solo of Dani California among other things. But the Moogs I’m not really sure about.

I watched Slash's rig rundown and he did not have all that shit. He had gate, overdrive, his sig fuzz/octave pedal, delay (2 different type if I remember correctly), reverb, and wah. The only thing he has on stage with him was wah. As far as heads.. He had 4 but was only running 2 at a time and 2 for backup. He had 2 JCM 800s and then his sig (2) Marshall which is essentially modded JCM 800s. His guitar tech does all of his switching for him including distortion so all his shit is behind the stage including a cab and a video monitor so his tech can hear and see him to know when to switch channels and shit.

Well I have to say at the 6 Min mark I thought you might know more about Slash... However I understand your opion... The wiring i am not sure of however all those effects his 2 techs have both said most of those cept for a boost pedal are for individual moments.
