I’m a brewer at Star Spangled Brewing and would love to get our Beer Ready to Drink (BRD) in front of Alabama Boss for an honest reaction. It’s a meal ready to eat themed American light lager. We also have a really nice Bourbon Ale for him to try if he’s willing. We’re a relatively small craft brewery that’s veteran owned by a former Special Forces Team Sergeant and us brewers are veterans as well.

You ought to get him some Boulevard Proper Pour batch #2 or Goose Island Bourbon County 2022 (he probably would like the coffee one the most). Im surprised y'all gave him a dirty bastard instead of KBS, given that its a stout. If I had to guess, you guys chose to do that to add some variety of some kind. I'd also suggest Wiseacre Astronaut Status and Deschutes the Abyss, awsome stuff. Also, happy to see he is back, been too long and he's just great. Would love to see him try more stuff from missouri, I'm pretty sure he'd enjoy alot of the stuff from KC Bier Co., and I'd love to see him try stuff from Boulevard Brewing Co., 2nd Shift Brewery, perrenial artisan ales, or 4 Hands Brewing Co.

Great and entertaining review. I detest IPA's. Over hopped queer beer for the man bun wearing crowd. It was brewed for a purpose that no longer exists. It's a fad that hopefully will die soon. Now for a medium roast beer I'd recommend "Hobgoblin Ale" It tastes like a chocolate orange if anybody is old enough to remember those Christmas treats. It's my favorite seasonal brew.

I'm pretty sure that last beer was infected(or soured). A stout will usually will not produce that amount of "head". You drank a bad beer, literally.
