I completely agree with the first lad, it used to be SO much better before it changed hands. This used to be a staple necessity for our nights out, we had to end the night with pie, gravy, onions, and mint sauce…. (and somehow wake up with a nasty hangover and half of it still left for lunch 😂). Matter of fact I don’t think I’ve ever been in and ordered sober, and I’ve lived here pretty much my whole life.

As a Wakey born and bred I absolutely can't stand the pie shop, it's horrible stuff. The prices are ridiculous because all the piss heads go in after a night out so they can get away with charging ludicrous amounts.

Danny doing great with the inebriated folks of West Yorkshire there. Great patience shown, but I suspect he knew what to expect. As for the pies - I suppose they'll look and taste better at 3 in the morning after skinful. This reminds me of once eating in Sloppy Joes (aka the Royal Kashmir) in Cleckheaton back in the day, great after a night out but I once went in stone-cold sober and it was never the same again!

Danny next time you visit Scotland I can recommend a pie company that delivers the best tasting pies I have ever tasted and believe me I've eaten my fare share of pies. It's called Trossachs pie and pastry co. All the pies are absolutely amazing but a firm favourite with me is the breakfast pie. It's out of this world. It truly is a pie frontier. You must visit this pie company. You will not be disappointed. Keep up the great work and thank you for everything you are doing.
