I totally agree. I'm from the UK 🇬🇧 And although I have noticed that the USA does do ridiculously large portions and in the past came 1ST in the top 10 countries with the highest obesity rates. UK was 3RD no idea about 2ND. But now every single country is doing it I've noticed. Trying to go one bigger and better than the next person. It's just a waste. Especially at buffets, Derek from All you can Vegas is so bad for that. He'll grab something and say I don't think I'm going to like this but it doesn't matter because that's the beauty of buffets! there's loads. You can just take a bite of everything! I just hate waste. Some of the food places in Vegas are over-priced. they know people are there to gamble and they have money, so they hit them with crazy food prices. I would never pay $75.00 for what you got. I would just walk away, and go somewhere else. Here in East Peoria Illinois I can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner for $40.00 or less, $10.00 for breakfast, $10.00 for lunch, and $20.00 for dinner. And if I have coupons, I can eat for about $20.00 a day. So I would never ever pay $75.00 for what you got. Those are rip-off Vegas prices, they take advantage of people to price gouge them. What you paid $75.00 for in Vegas, would sell for about $45.00 to $50.00 here.

I do not know the best way to comment on seeing that burger. I can only describe how I feel & I feel as if I should call my man & dad and own up to something I have done, that they will not be pleased with, left shocked and would probably direct me to a priest to confess! That burger was big. I’d say too big, but there are many amongst us who look at that & see heaven. I respect peoples choices. (I ask for extra gherkins on my McD’s burger & I think I am adding a layer!) Love this series Danny. I sympathize with your problems eating that giant burger. I once ordered a triple-decker bacon cheeseburger. When it arrived, it was TEN INCHES tall with a steak knife driven vertically into it to stabilize it. Since I had no idea how to eat it, I asked a waitress for advice - she suggested that I use the knife to cut the burger into quarters, pick up just one quarter, and eat it from one end to the other before tackling the next quarter. Her advice worked!

To add to Danny's comment @14:00 about The US taxing food....While the ruling on taxable food does vary state to state, Usually there's only a sales tax on prepared hot food, cold (prepared or otherwise) food usually isn't taxable So for example, if you go to store and buy a cold tuna sandwich, there won't be any sales tax, but if you buy a hot slice of pizza then expect for it be taxed. But in some places, depending on the local laws, whether or not it's cold it's served in a restaurant it will be taxed no matter what. Also, the price of the tax also varies from state to state. I fully understand why it'd be confusing to someone new to the country, because it can confuse a lot of us who've been here all our lives! LMAO! Nothing can convince me that they don't intentionally make these laws as confusing as humanely possible, so people end up making a mistake and either underpay what they owe and have to pay huge fines (or worse!) over it, or overpaying because they don't know what they're doing and/or think it's better to be safe than sorry. It's lose-lose situation, well for us that is, for them it's a win-win! LOL! Well, ya know what they say..."In this world, nothing is certain except for...Death and Taxes." My wife and I are from Jersey in the good Old USA and enjoy your videos that you have done in America and hope to see more. Yes the food might have been good but you were way over priced as you can get the same quality in a good Restaurant off the strip for maybe half the price you paid. Also I noticed you mentioned that you were charged a sales tax for food in Vegas which is correct but unless I'm wrong the UK charges a VAT tax for restaurants at 12.5% which is MORE then Vegas which charges 6.85%.
