Danny, in the US we have a nationwide restaurant chain called Cheesecake Factory. The food is really good. Well as you can see by the name, they specialize in cheesecake, like 30 different flavors. My wife and I's favorite is banana cream and coconut cream. They are so good.

when you look at the difference between places the size of that fish and chips for under a £10 is excellent. I went to Gills got an 11 oz fish and chips for £9.. special offer i complain a lot about cost of the sauces because charging over a pound for them is just not good value. and the higher it get the worse it is. All I can say from everything you had that cheesecake is value.. Half the price of a pudding in any place were you pay over a £5 and get a small something on a plate. That is a GOOD slice. the staff are lovely there and clean the place is well kept not like your last place which was a DUMP waiting to be closed down and pulled down.

Best chippy by a country mile is Beadles in Bishop Auckland, Not to be mistaking by Bedales lol, Everything on the menu is banging and its not a bad price either, if you are ever this way give it a try mate.

They do an excellent large breakfast in the cafe for £8.25 including tea or coffee. I tried the banana cheesecake today and it is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend a visit to anyone if they're in the area.
