Actually Nene’s Colorful Festival outfit is actually designed off of Mary Poppins! With the magic surrounding Nene’s feet leading into the sky it lends the motif of her landing softly on the ground, just like how Mary Poppins herself uses her parasol to move around as well. Along with the card being her dream of being on Broadway, it very much leads to a classic Western theater experience.

I think Enas dress at 27:32 is inspired by Vietnamese Ao Dai! It has parts that are similar to chinese Cheongsam/Qipao with the biggest noticable difference being the high slit at the waist and wide legged pants for Ao Dai

I am an ultimate sucker for simpler clothings and as a Mafuyu oshi I hate the fact her sets are the ones I don't like the most out of the 25ji focus events. I still love them they are still like an 7-8/10 for me but god damn Marionette set looks weird af, mirage is too... Bloated? Cant explain it. Lost child gets a pass that outfit is great but in both Mirage and Lost child Mizuki does get the slander card art and costume wise 💔 Also Rui should get a pass at wearing a fedora, he is afterall, a menace to society

23:13 imma have to object with you there chief, how you mean it doesn’t have much sea themes when there’s jellyfish inspired designs ALLL over the outfit 😭😭😭 like not just the literal jellyfish on his sash but the shape of almost every detail is meant to emulate a jellyfish and I think it’s such GENIUS design. The sleeves?? Jellyfish. The neck thing? Jellyfish. The shape of the coat tails? Jellyfish. The pattern on the little shoulder thing? Jellyfish pattern. Even the shoulder PAD having those dangly little things feels like it’s meant to harken back to a jellyfish. About the only thing I don’t love is the pants and the shoes, just because they feel a little clown-y because of the stripes, but even then I just realized the stripes are probably meant to resemble jellyfish stingers omg 😭😭. I LOVE the colour of the pants but something about the bottom half doesn’t quite come together for me. (PLUS NOT TO MENTION THE ADORABLE EARRING IM OBSESSED!!) Still, absolutely 10/10 outfit and one of the smartest designs in the game imo

I honestly think the way it is is more interesting than if it had just been regular sea themed, especially because all the outfits for that event are inspired by a specific sea creature! (And I think the creatures themselves are supposed to represent the character, like how kaito’s is a seahorse because he’s a paternal figure to wxs and male seas horses give birth LOL. At least that was the justification I saw someone else use 😂. I think rui can be accurately likened to a jellyfish in that they’re beautiful but can also be dangerous so some people are afraid of them. But they’re actually such interesting and lovely creatures.) Plus sea themes can get pretty generic when they’re all blue with shells yknow? I loved that they decided to incorporate different elements of the sea instead of just the water and beach itself. Or maybe it’s just that I’m a huge princess jellyfish fan and this is the outfit of my dreams LOL

Late comment but imo from what ive seen in a lot of proseka outsit is that they look pleasing on card art but the outfit itself on a 3D dosent do it justice. Comparing these outfit to bang dream, another game from different developer in craft egg(not collopalett).
