It's wholesome to me to see people respect us. everyone in my past school apparently thought that if you had ADHD then you were just stupid. It has caused me a lot of depression lately. I really do appreciate what you said about disabilities, I’ve been autistic since I was younger and unfortunately the things people would say about me made me feel like, I wouldn’t make it anywhere in life or be successful. It made me feel bad about myself, but the only good thing is it made me choose to try to gain better control over my autism for only myself and not anyone else. It helped me become a calmer person, and I’m happy with being autistic. That made me who I am, and I’m proud of who I am, growing autism certainly caused me struggle at times but it also helped me learn from it. I grew up thinking autism was a bad thing because everyone always made it seem that way. But it’s part of who i am, and i could never have wished for being anyone else.
