One art tip that i think isn’t talked about enough is: just have fun! I had a lot of artblocks trying to make something that looks good and just giving up, and if that happens to you just remeber why you started drawing in the first place. Even if you’re trying to progress or make money of your art, its always good to just take your favorite medium and do whatever with it, scribles, doodles, anything! If you’re enjoying yourself you’ll always end up being proud! (Sorry for broken english i come from the oui oui baguette country)

Love Sam’s videos cause not only does he tell me (the tiny art baby) what tips I can trust but also WHY. It’s just so much easier if I know WHY I’m doing stuff. If I don’t then I’m like „well, this makes no sense why should I do this“.

The last tip is really helpful actually! As beginner digital artist, I recently made a fan art of a game and was thinking "why isn't it looking interesting? I like the color, the way I did shadows, then why is it still not good?" But the last tip helped me understand composition, next time i will keep in mind about composition when drawing!
