Good morning Vincent!😃👍 I pray 🙏 that you will be feeling better soon. Don't be concerned about me being sold out to the PCP's, spring piston rifles are king in my book!👑 I went icefishing 🎣 with my son yesterday, and brought the HW50s 22 caliber, using open sights, drilling tin cans out to 40 yards, a shotgun shell, a 243 casing and a small 1 inch target.🎯 It was a great competition between me and my boy!😍👍 God bless you!😃

Happy New Year, Vin and I hope you get over the Chinese flu soon. I agree with your ratings, except I'd go an extra couple of points for the HW57. Lighter than its big brothers, with much easier and safer loading with its popup breech and a much handier to carry hunting tool. Tragic that BSA springers have gone down the pan. I've been renovating an old Superstar over the last couple of years, and finally got it shooting well - just the stock to refinish. It's a pleasure to use and just as accurate as my HW77, with the bonus of a very simple and safe to use rotary breech. How the once mighty have fallen.

Hi Vin, Thank you for your video and opinion. It was an interesting, informative view from someone with many years of experience with air rifles and someone who's seen many things in air rifles. I, too, love my TX. I agree it's on the pricey side. However, good things don't come cheap. The fishscale chequering and blueing/blacking, of the action/metalwork are for me, knee tremblers. It's a gorgeous air rifle. With upmost respect to Weihrauch, their stocks don't come close to Air Arms and their blueing although fine, isn't Air Arms standard. For me, that manufacturing standard makes Air Arms unique and a joy to own, never mind shoot. That standard has to cost more, whether we like it, or not. For that quality, I'm happy go graft harder, to earn the dough, and to pay for such quality. I think Air Arms are aware of this cost issue, which is why I would think they've launched a range of budget air rifles from India to keep their costs down. People must still be buying the TX, or I don't think they'd still be making it. I too, would love to see BSA making better quality spring air rifles, and compete with Weihrauch. Best wishes, Vin, Ian.

Hi Vin, nice review I’ve had all of these rifles lol 😂 and my opinion is the best all round rifle is the HW95 accurate light and you can carry it round all day, second choice the TX200 very accurate straight out of the box lovely trigger easier to cock than the HW97 and doesn’t need tuning

Hi Vin, Magazines on PCP's (and my Victory, CP2 CO2) can be Iffy and very much "Pot Luck" due to Manufacturing Tolerances, Limits & Fits And "Wear & Tear". I've shelved the Mag's on the CP2 now, and only use the Single Shot Tray, finding the Rifle is more accurate by doing that as well !!
@vincentenglish8489Ай бұрын

We would really like your personal opinion on the beautiful at first glance hw98, I think that when it comes to accuracy it has a quite divisive character.
@vincentenglish8489Ай бұрын
@@tryfon827 ok my friend I'll give you my personal opinion, there's a short answer and a more in depth one too. Short answer is it's a Weihrauch and it's a pukka rifle. Long answer which could equally apply to lots of rifles in the Weihrauch range is there seems to be lots of myths out there and people wanting to get instant results without learning the rifle, not trying out different pellets, not waiting for the action to bed in, too quick to install "upgraded" kits and most telling not using proper shooting techniques. It's quite bizarre that you go on various airgun forums you'll hear about galling issues, pop up breaches failing on '57s and host of other issues which personally I've never seen. I think this would make an interesting video because there's so much more to say than I can in a reply. 👍👍👍👍👍
