Thank you so much! Really appreciate the encouragement and I'm so glad you're getting good value out of this. I've got a lot more lined up in the new year!

To be fair the springbok had the easiest end of year tour compared to the others but still they’re the number one team for now and the rest of us just have to accept that

Good that you pointed out Sasha’s injury, as you said, anybody would have at least tried to push themselves. It’s called living in the moment, the now, the present ?
@frontrowrugby8 күн бұрын
For sure! It's easy to criticise but I maintain 99% if not 100% of us would have done exactly the same thing in that position. I know I would have.

@@frontrowrugbyI would die to have just one game playing for the Boks? And I would die a happy man! Who wouldn’t?

For sure!! I would have given anything to have that talent and the chance to represent my country.

Morning Peter...also a bit worried about our discipline...we received the most cards in the Championship and it continued in the EoYT..Stressed about Sasha getting injured agian and hope injuries don't dictate the trajectory of his career like a Lambie or even a Jean de Villiers that missed so many World Cups due to injuries..overall this has been a great rugby year and can't wait for the 2025 season..Two tests agianst the ABs in NZ..mouthwatering stuff.. Edit:Don't know how many more vids you are going to be putting out this year so would like to wish you and your family a blessed Xmas season..Thx for all the hard work and content throughout the year..

Thanks Sakabula! I'll keep putting out at least one video per week over the festive season but a very merry Christmas to you and your family too! Discipline is indeed another issue we need to sort out in 2025. Let's see how it goes with Sacha. We really don't want another Lambie or JDV situation but still early days. Can't wait for those two Tests against the All Blacks in New Zealand! Could we win 2-0? Probably not but it would be incredible!

Whats your opinion on how our provinsial teams are doing in the Heineken Champions cup so far and do you think we will ever win it one day?
@frontrowrugby8 күн бұрын
I think we are doing well. The Bulls and Sharks probably have the ability to win it this season but you must also remember the French clubs have a massive advantage over our teams. They pay the best salaries so will always have the best players, coaching staff etc. So when you compare clubs/franchises the French are always going to be ahead of us so it means we have to punch above our weight. But the beauty of the competition is that after the group stage it becomes a knockout and on the day anyone could beat anyone! I also think our players need some time to get used to it and our fans also need some time to get used to it. After decades of Super Rugby now we're playing in this new thing and I'm sure a lot of casual fans haven't yet got to grips with what it is all about yet.

@frontrowrugby I don't think the bulls can win it this season with the brand of rugby they are currently playing.

Jake White is a clever old man so I wouldn't write them off. But I think you're right in that there's no ways they can be seen as one of the favourites at this stage.
@johannrugby38117 күн бұрын
@frontrowrugby A clever old man would know that to only play crash ball rugby with the forwards, will get you nowhere (especially in the Champions Cup where you are competing against the best club teams in the world) There must be some creativity in your attack in order penetrate defence. The springboks didn't win the world cup in 2019 and 2023 because they played crash ball rugby, they won it because they had incredible defence, a brilliant scrum and a strong box-kicking game (these factors were especially key to them wehn they've won the world cup in 2019). That's why they've won the world cup. That type of rugby won't work anyway nowadays that's why Rassie tried to make us play more expansive this year. The bulls don't have strong defence, they don't have a good kicking game and eventhough their scrum is decent, they can't rely to much on it as their scrum are not near as dominant as the springboks scrum who followed that crash ball forwards rugby gameplan. As I said, even if you have strong defence, scrum and a good kicking game, you still can't only play crash ball rugby because it won't work nowadays (and as I said that is why Rassie made us play more expansive this year)

@frontrowrugby To me Jake White is a "has been". Have you noticed the only trophies he won after the 2007 Rugby World Cup, was the EPCR Challenge Cup and the Currie Cup which are not major trophies, especially the currie cup these days. He couldn't win Super Rugby, the URC, the champions cup or the Rainbow Cup in several attempts. His style of coaching is too predictable nowadays in terms of how his teams play.
