Rational root theorem, also called rational root test, in algebra, theorem that for a polynomial equation in one variable with integer coefficients to have a solution (root) that is a rational number, the leading coefficient (the coefficient of the highest power) must be divisible by the denominator of the fraction

Sir kala ko ba when two different sign are simplified it result to negative... Pero bat po sa 2:24 positive 2 is divided to negative 1 why did you said that its positive when it should be negative....

just a question, the number of degree/exponents hints how many zeros we have to find, correct? what if the highest degree of exponent is only 1? do we only have to do the substitution part because we are only looking for one zero? Thank you so much in advance! 💕

I guess yes, just equate the given polynomial with a highest degree of 1 and simply get the value of x; that value is the root/zero of such polynomial, though you can still apply this theorem (RZT) to have a guide if the answer you get is on the list of the possible rational roots/zeroes.
