Div, that VW is the 'Deluxe' model that has options like 'natural' air conditioning, 'enhanced' rust patina, super low 'slammed' suspension and the 'road visibility' package. Wayne's new tractor will have 'wet sleeves' in that engine block, so it is easily rebuilt if the parts could be sourced. But that 'F' truck V8 would work nicely in the old beast that could make 'Barefoot Mechanic' chuckle big time.

Hey Div, That was a lot of bother for an old rusty VW body. But it allowed for a good time to be had by like minded friends. I think it is wonderful you can have a roadside open air cafe in your area. To my knowledge such places are no longer allowed here in the states. Take Care, Be Well

Glad to see you out and about man, I just got back from a reunion with four friends from Cape Town that I hadn't seen for 30 years or more, driving from Kent to Wales and back, more than 5 hours each way and it was worth it mate 48 hours of skinner en lag en rook en lag en suip en lag en vreet en lag and I feel there's nothing better than a day spent with your best friends ❤

Tell Wayne if the Fergy tractor is petrol its most likely a TEA20 model, they have wet liners and heaps of repro parts are available. They also share the same engine as a Vanguard car, I still have the Grandfathers Fergy that he bought new in "53 and at least here in AU you can get most parts new. Cheers Greg
