I sincerely appreciate seeing the revival/startup of this old truck engine so soon after the recovery video. Continuity is so much better when the two separate videos are reasonably close in release. Also good to see the little red S-10 working for you so soon!

Great work! When installing valve guides or valve seats get some dry ice and pack it around the part. After about 30 minutes it should have shrunk enough to slip it in place. Just be sure to handle the part with pliers...SERIOUS frost bite risk.

Ya know, I really admire how Y'all just set the engine on an old tire & done engine work outside on the ground!!! That's some "Old School" techniques, just showing everyone ya don't need a grade a shop to get things done!!! Bringing back memories of when I used to drag home relics & get em going again!!! Everyone laughed at me until I cruised "Main Street" and yes they wanted to sed under the hood. Surprise there's the same "Old ,Your Never Gonna Get It Running Again" engine just purring away!!!

Unbelievable.... The time and effort you put into that truck is absolutely ridiculous. And it always raises the question in my mind every time a watch a resurrection video. Why in the heck was that truck parked and left for dead. The repairs that ya'll made were because it sat so long. It must have been fully operational when it was parked.

Love that truck! As a kid we had the 48 International pickup - it was a terrible shade of yellow - someone painted it with a brush but that sucker ran every day every day and we worked it hard; was real disappointed when our Dad sold it. The metal in it was TANK thick and you couldn't kill it!
