Totally agree !! I saw Ratt twice back in the day they were killer !! Stephens voice is shot its time to call it a day. He was still good about 8 years ago when they released there last album. He sounded damn good, but this performance blows !

Just goes to show drugs and strong drink ruin a clean Temple. time and time again we see rock stars just f****** their health and it shows on the outside and they look like s***. It's so sad they could have really hung on to their prime a lot longer.

Dude you not the only one. I worked at an outdoor music theatre when I was in high school and college in the 1980's early 1990's and saw them all in their prime. Someone build a time machine please. I'm going back to the 80's to never return!

Now I've got a Ratt problem too! I'm running across America in March (2021) for disabled vets and the adventure/challenge. This song has captured my attention (I don't know why it didn't years ago) and I plan to use it for motivation on my run and as the opening song for the video documentary if Ratt will give me permission. This is a band that knows how to rock and I never appreciated their talents before. Thank you Geiko for reminding me of this band's unique talents.

Good? Better than last many years but thats not a large achievement. He is still rough and croaky with zero high notes sung. Plus, its 2 of 5, Maybe they should sells tickets as RATTY
@MetalMaster1015 жыл бұрын
@@vladlashing That's the whole point, it's well documented that he has had issues singing over the years. So for people to notice his improvements, it is a big achievement. For both Pearcy and the fans. At 62 years old, expectations aren't huge. All people want is to go to a show and enjoy, without having to complaint about his singing. People will be happy if this becomes a nightly occurrence.
@vladlashing5 жыл бұрын
@@MetalMaster101 I went to see them in Detroit when it was all of them (except Cavazo of course). Thats was brutal beyond belief. I was pretty stoked to see Ratt. Thats my youth. But soon as they hit the stage the music was OK, kinda sloppy, but the voice ... excruciating. I tried to get over it but me and my wife both left in the middle as it was just plain awful and he was high on top of all that. Never again as that's a complete insult to people who pay good money for tickets. Never again will a dollar of mine fly their way. LA guns was the opening that night and were great. Don Dokken played and even he was better than Pearcy albeit pretty rough. Warrant was next and never interested me but they were bang on I have to give them that. Then Ratt, the whole reason I was there... such a build up ... such a disappointment.

I know some of these guys are very young but Pearcy is still there plus a few others. That being said: I can usually tell when a band goes belly up - they cut all their hair off. That's usually the sign they're gonna slow down and go country or something or other than what they originally were. Well, that hasn't entirely happened here. No the vocals weren't perfect but, can anyone remember when Pearcy's live performances ever were? I actually enjoyed this and I'll pay money to go see them.
