Rattler and Panthera accuracy testing

Several of you guys have been requesting more Rattler videos, so I did some accuracy with that and the Panthera, and also this is with the new Sony AX-53 with Zeiss lense.

Hi I’m from Michigan. I have a m3 sniper 30 cal 970 plus ftp 47.2 grain nsa slugs. Watch all your content. I been in air guns since 2000. I have a Benjamin rouge in 357. It’s electronic trigger with programmable dwell setting. Still shoots as new 825 fps on high with 127 grain slugs. Fun gun. I have a huben gk1 pistol that I wish someone would 3d print an adaptable carbine type stock. There becoming really popular. Probably big seller if someone would mass produce them. I have the viper pistol in 22 also but nowhere near the power of the gk1. I shoot a 80 yd target in the back yard at times with good results off a tripod. I’m interested in the skout I like the hammer less guns. Keep putting out your quality content. Happy new year!!

Hey, so I recently bought a really high-end printer a 450 Celsius, hot end, 90 C chamber, insulated, 160 C bed, serious printer for PEEKPEKK, ULTEM 1010, the real ultra filament, and even the printers I already have can do up to 350, I’m sure I could print that

@@Leadheadsam you are very welcome, obviously, it’s my own passion as well, with all of my air, guns and air gun equipment combined, I could buy my Denali all over again. And it’s a Duramax 2500 HD turbo diesel. Literally about a $100,000 truck, I think I have at least that much into air guns. Almost all my own money, stud mag loaders, my sponsor does contribute their products, but I buy them as well. The owner is awesome and I understand that he has a business and needs to make money so generally every time he sends me something I usually buy two or three of the same thing or similar. Just because that’s the way I am. Honestly, I know it does benefit him because I give him thorough testing results, but nonetheless, it doesn’t mean that it’s not a business and doesn’t need to make money. Because both are true, so I’m just being considerate because he’s an awesome guy. But just giving you a picture that this is really a passion for me.

Question: One of my favorites is my Leshiy 2 in .30 cal. I put a 600mm FX barrel on it, the Huma Raptor reg. Alloy undergrip/pistol block and I tried every jet size from one 0.1 jet to two 0.3 jets but I can't seem to get th ZAN 49 grain above the 980. My reg is set to 190 bar. and I'm rocking the 470cc bottle. I think I really need a bigger plenum. At this point they don't make plenums for the "newer" model Leshiy 2 .30 What's your opinion, would you up the reg or are there other options I din't think of? I want to shoot the ZAN's at 1010 fps give or take. BY the way . . . Huma send me a "stiffer" stack of belleville washers for the Raptor so it can handle and hold more pressure. @@jbhk7977 hey John, I bought a 357 Ed gun just to turn it into a super 25 caliber it’s in one of my videos, I think I shot a couple of 35 caliber pellets, but I turned it into a 25 because it has 137 cc Plenum, and that’s the only way you can get it they don’t sell it separately, it worked out well because I got the bigger bohemian suppressor, the two Mazzi gauges, and a bunch of other shit. I wouldn’t have gotten with the 25, but spent a good amount more money. I still have the 35 caliber barrel and magazines the titanium ones two of them that I am trying to sell. I haven’t actually tried I haven’t listed them anywhere but I do have them, literally less than 10 shots out of it, but I can get that thing over 1100 ft./s with 40 grain slugs. in 25 caliber. I sent results back to Spain because they were astonished. They literally made me tell them in an email that I wouldn’t return it unless it was some manufacturer defect because they were afraid I wouldn’t get the velocity I was looking for, but I did! Blew their mind, I sent them testing results in the form of pro krona data sheets. I have the hum metal trigger assembly, I had tried a lot of different mixtures of jet sizes, and I always use the biggest port, the puck, I use the largest size of that all the time and I had both at 0.1, then I had one 0.1 and 0.2 and on and on. I tried lots of combinations to get those velocities with those weights, I was using as heavy as 48 grain, and some old store-bought slugs I had laying around that were like 26 and then 33, I tried it with all different ammunition, and I got all different velocity results, but I found what I like the best. I made an Ed gun barrel with an STX conversion with a 25 caliber STX barrel, the alpha barrel is better for that gun. I tried everything to make the STX accurate with it, it’s just not as good. In that gun anyway. The scout I made incredibly accurate with the STX liners, but the barrel that comes with the gun, it needs a full hard barrel. That extra rigidity is what that gun needs. It’s hammerless, lots of air movement. The barrel harmonics are too far off for a thin liner, it has to be a solid, rigid barrel or you’ll never get the same accuracy. That’s my experience anyway.

@@jbhk7977 also mine came with the raptor preinstalled they did it for me, I’ve been dealing with Wolfie group for a while. Now I know Matthias well, they’ve been awesome! Really took care of me. Still spent a lot of money, but not as much as I would have. They didn’t charge me for thatraptor, they didn’t charge me for several other things. They sent me a bunch of T-shirts, they’ve been awesome. But the raptor regulator is the only way you’ll get those velocities I think the difference is the caliber, but also the Plenum more than anything! That’s why I went so far as to order the 357 just to make it a 25 caliber. I never would have gotten these velocities without it.

Damn fine shooting. What reg pressure do you have that Panthera .25 at? Thats insane you're pushing a 50 grain at 1050 fps. I'm shooting a 50 grain AVS BT at 992 fps in my M3 but seeing that makes me want the Dynamic because they are the same platform. I'd love to see that Panthera on some quarry. I hope to see you outside pesting down the road.

Lol, I go pesting all the time, I have a collection of tacticam videos I have to put up. Mostly from edgun, but I'll get some on that one, reg is at 175 or so, and I changed all my internals tungsten hammer and spring, heavier valve pin, etc... I have spent a lot of time on each gun perfecting the balance of power to accuracy. Going as fast as I can without losing accuracy with a certain weight slug. All slugs I press on the presslug.

A little off topic but I'd like to know your opinion on your top 3-4 scopes under a grand. I have a couple Element Helix HDLR 2-16, an Arken EPL-4 4-16, and am thinking of getting a Vortex Strike Eagle 4-16 Thanks for your advice and enjoy your vids you put out!

I can answer that in one scope I have the Arkin, under 1000 the best scope I have is a vortex PST, 2 to 10, unbelievable clarity, 10 times zoom is not all that much but I put it on the Ed gun which doesn’t have a crazy range anyway, it’s perfect for that. And you get a really wide angle without zooming in at all, but for longer range, you can do like 100 yards maybe a little more if you want, if you’re looking for a higher zoom range, for 500 bucks the Vortech venom is an awesome scope. If I had to do again, I would have bought two of them instead of the Arkin. I actually like the company, it’s not that the scope is just so much clearer. Those element scopes I bought one and returned it because they are garbage past 50 yards. I don’t know why they made a scope with that much zoom that can’t see at 100 yards. Everything becomes blurry. If I ever use that in competition, I may as well just forfeit.

I have the Edgun 9mm and I would love to use that silencer on my rattler. Can you make an adapter so I can use it on my rattler? Keep the videos coming. Hey, thank you very much for the kind words.. I haven't tried that, I would like to myself, but the rattler suppressor is the best stock I've seen of any high-end airgun. I don't think It'd be any quieter only because it's not all muzzle report. I would like to make an adapter for the rattler to 1/2 unf, but haven't taken a close look at it to see what it would entail. If you're serious I may want one for myself so maybe I can make us both one. Just for testing for me I will have my larger bore 35-50 suppressors done soon.

I had the two for a little bit. I sent it back, my slugs were getting stuck in the barrel. That’s a straight up pellet gun, and I already have a gun that’s strictly for pellets my RAWHM 1000 X, and it’s even more accurate than the priest was.

I would get ahold of (my air gun channel )before pulling the trigger. I’ve been waiting on a further review. 150 Ajustable moa rail is nice but if someone could figure a measuring system for rail moa. I use adjustable rings myself.

@@wes1spence i’m not sure exactly what you mean? I use a 20 Moa, 150 is really excessive. If you need that much elevation, you’re not shooting high enough velocity. Or too heavy of slugs, or pellets, or just not enough power. You shouldn’t need that much elevation, with a good scope, even at a very long range. my long range scopes have a lot of elevation and windage adjustment, one is a zero compromise. The other is a XR three and my bench scope is a Zeiss LR PS five, and I only use 20 MA on the rail. And fixed Rings. I don’t like adjustable rings. A scoring is supposed to be solid, when it has an adjustment that adjustment can move obviously. It’s made to, so I don’t use them. But 150 sounds a bit excessive. You can measure it easily. You shoot at 100 yards, and do the calculations.
