That's probably because they are Walmart exclusives and Walmart sucks with distribution and purchasing. They purchase a certain amount to fill their stores a couple of times. After that it's a crap shoot if they will order more or not. Walmart doesnt really care when a toy sells out or if everyone got their set

Completing the line was like pulling teeth. THAN ...having learned nothing...Mattel decided to make the follow up Superstars line a Walmart exclusive too...

This line needs figures of Sylvester Stallone (Rocky Balboa), Dolph Lungdren (Ivan Drago), and Carl Weathers (Apollo Creed). I don't know if any of these guys participated in the WWE but we have Thunder Lips (Hulk Hogan) and Clubber Lang (Mr. T) in this line so might as well get the rest of the cast. Plus who doesn't want MOTU style Rocky figures. We have New Adventures style figures (Demolition Man) of Stallone, time to go for the original 80's style as well.

1. I'm glad I'm not the only one who wishes they had given Hogan the war bonnet. It just seems so obvious, and no figure has ever had it! 2. With Austin and Jake, I love that we're getting WWE Snake Men. Now we just need a Randy Orton. I hope this thing starts hitting stores around here, along with series 3 and 4, after the holidays. I really need to get them!

Great review, thanks. The Hulk figure is the draw in this bundle. They made Hulk more tan, the pale one in the promo pic looked like Rock 'n' Wrestling Hulk. Although I kind of want that one too now. I hope some of the Bundle figures get released as single variant versions at some point. Battle armor Cena, Pale Hulk with soft goods tee for example.

I'm obsessed with both lines lol I'm a WWE/MOTU kid since the early 80s and still am 🤣 do this was a wish list item for me. The Hogan is so cool and I'm excited for Him to be back in the Mattel lines. Austin was also a must so great idea to slap em together. Can't wait to have both rings outback of both castles lol gonna make a massive display for both.

You're on fire Dan! Love this review and I'm excited to get this on Christmas morning! Shhh... my wife doesn't know that I know she got it for me. People who want this need to get it before the price spikes any more. It was originally $49 then it dropped to $39 and now its over $60 last I checked. The way Walmart allows 3rd party people to sell scalper priced products when they run out of stock, no telling how much more it will go up. Prince Adam and the Sky Sled is going for about $105.

As cool as this is, I wish there were a couple action features. Maybe a trap door in the ring or a button so one of the snakes can flip down and attack the figures. Still planning to get it at some point.

Sad that this line has ended. It was a great parallel to the Origins line and I have been collecting them both. Wave 8 was released and I have those....which are the last. And, they were released before wave 7. Figure that one out. In any case, Dan, I hope you see your reviews for these till the end and get in these last two waves (7 & 8) for the fans.

These are impossible to find at the local Walmarts. I was lucky to actually find he-man and skelator from the origins line. I only ever found wave 2 of the wwe line at Walmart. F$&king exclusives

I really don't wanna have to buy a whole ring and other figure just to get Hulk Hogan , I only really want the 80's era figures, Randy Savage, Mr. T, Jake the Snake, Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper is supposed to be in a upcoming wave. Doesn't really matter anyway as my Walmart only has 2 Faker John Cena figures from wave 2 on the shelf pre christmas. Their MOTU origins figure selection consists of 6 skeletor figures and 2 battlecats.

Snake Mountain has gotten many appearances in art and mini comics for origins and now that we got a rattlesnake mountain ring, they can't not make an origins Snake Mountain at this point

I was born an orphan in the roughest part of new york, i stayed alive by befriending the rats and living in the sewers. Every weekend I'd watch wwf through the window of a downtown thrift shop and i made my own action figures out of bars of soap. Hulk was my favourite. One day i ate him out of desperation but happily i made a new one (i used to steal the soap out of hotel lobby bathrooms). Good times, good times... even now 28 years later whenever i wash my hands in lemon scented soap I whisper "Hulkamaniaaaaaa..."

Off topic since you have a decent relationship with Randy Faulk can you organize a constructive interview on why Neca toys are considered Non durable goods also is that the reasoning for not having a real customer service 1800 number to speak to a representative on getting a replacement on broken products instead you have to go through hoops. It a chance for Neca to enlighten us on their business practices. Your are a respected KZbinr and you being the one doing the interview will be compelling.

The design for that Hogan armor is pretty much the Flying-Fists He-Man armor, except its definitely a new piece with the rips in the back, as opposed to the molded faux-dial from Classics.
