Raudi Metro Custom Turbo Back Exhaust Part 1: Magnaflow 200 cell Cat - MR Metro EP13

In this episode im back on the Mid-engine Rover Metro project, fabricating a custom turbo back exhaust system. I take a moment to explain my thoughts on back pressure before welding up a 3" 304 stainless system.

Turbo is a baffle so probably only need converter great video.

Yes I think so too, but I'll fit it with a slip on short silencer and see if it makes the noises I want. I can always remove it on the dyno and see what difference it makes

@@VisionAutoGarage I had a modded metro turbo and it only had a rear box lovely noise and street legal.You gotta run with and without silencer when it's running.

great welds, way better then mine lol.. so is that going to be to much weight hanging off the turbo? do you need a flex joint?

Thanks Ben. There will be a support from the subframe on rubbers to take the weight. The engine is almost solid mounted, so there won't be much movement and the rubbers will absorb most of it.

Been looking to fit a 200 cell cat in my downpipe I just bought, wanting a long life cat are these magnaflow ones worth the cash?

Magnaflow are quality units, but it can't vouch for the longevity of this one yet!

@@VisionAutoGarage just a quick question about fitment. Got a 3" eBay special decat downpipe I intend to weld the 200 cell into. Did you order a 3" cat ? As I see it fit very nicely over the piping ready for welds. Cheers!
