@@gilmarbarros42 A história da criação dessa música é engraçada. Foi uma aposta entre Ednardo, Climério, Dominguinhos e mais um compositor. Eles fizeram duplas (Ednardo e Climério x Dominguinhos e o outro que esqueci) e apostaram uma caixa de cerveja pra ver qual dupla faria mais músicas em uma semana. Ao fim da semana estavam em 6x6 (umas das 6 do Dominguinhos foi "De volta pro meu aconchego"), mas antes de sairem pra contar a esposa do Ednardo pediu pra ele esperar "enquanto ela engoma a calça". Deu um estalo na cabeça dele e ele correu pro quarto e escreveu a sétima música. Nesse dia a cerveja foi 0800. kkkkkkkkkkkkk

Raul and Paulo Coelho were partners in many songs. In 1973 Raul released his first album, "Krig-Ha Bandolo!", in wich many songs were composed with Paulo.Some great hits like "Mosca na Sopa", "Ouro de Tolo" and "Metamorfose Ambulante" are from this album. They were interested in oriental culture, and supposelly went deep into esoteric experiences. And, yes, you got it right about the dark glasses.

This song was forbiden in Brazil in its' original version (not this one) during the brazilian right wing dictatorship (which went from 1964 to 1989) because there was a verse that said something agains the system. Remember "Eu nasci há 10.000 atrás" (I was born 10,000 years ago)? I think you should react to "Gita", another huge success. "Toca Raul" is in the minds and hearts of an entire generation, and people yell it in every concert, party, festival and show.
