Excellent fire! Those beavers, I never believed the stories until I saw their work, in person. I really dig that Google earth effect thing in your vlogs.

Thanks John! I remember the trail as it looked before the beavers destroyed it. On my first hike there I crossed a little footbridge over a tiny stream. Then a year later it started to get flooded by the beaver damn under construction. After 2 years the entire area was completely unrecognizable. The little footbridge is probably still under there somewhere. LOL

Now that is a nice view to have from the hammock. Always a fan of camping near water features.

I love videos of this place because of the coal mining history there and the abandoned villages. At some point I will hike it myself. So far, the closest I've gotten is the Boxcar rocks off of Goldmine Road; it's a bit of a drive for a day hike for me.

Thanks R Ebel! It's a great area and Rausch Creek is quite beautiful, but it's not easy to get to for a day hike since it is not close to any roads. The easiest way is to hike the rail trail to get there. I have never been to the Boxcar Rocks, but it looks interesting. I may have to check that out!
