Notes:
It might take a couple tries to reposition the sensor correctly without errors. Took me 2 times but wasn’t too bad. You could instead purchase the Grille Bracket made for the Adventure trim instead of making your own custom sensor bracket, for ~$200 (Part Number: 53115-0R020) from Toyota Parts.

I put the same grill on my Rav4. But I also debadged the Rav4 emblem in the back and got it lifted and replaced it with bigger tires and rims. I get so many comments now from people asking me what car it is.

on your original bumper how did you get your toyota emblem to look like that? was it as simple as removing the glass piece and spraying it black?

Will this work on 2022 models using the same bumper from 2021?As far Im aware the only thing that changed were headlights for 2022. Doesn’t look like shape changed more like the headlight housing. Thanks for providing your video and awesome work on the rav4 thus far.

**update** It works on the 2022. Follow his instruction and parts to order and you should be good. I did this on my 2022 SE trim. Worked perfectly

Just to let you know. The LED fog lights from a c-hr. Is a direct swap with rav4 halogens. And they are relatively cheap from toyota

Hey great work on that. I currently have all the parts in order, however I might need more since mine is a 2020 LE. I was wondering if you could help me with what I need for fog light/harnesses. Mine doesnt have any fog light stocks. Thanks!

I might be a little late, but the LE doesn't include the harness for the fog lights. I'm still looking to see if there's a connection to the dashboard to indicate 'fog lights on' but you'll have to hard wire your own lines. There's a few videos showing you the installation process, how to actually install the fog lights properly, but they seem to all wire to the battery and switch with no relay. I wired mine a little more responsibly. I included a relay to the headlights, so the fog lights can only be on if the headlights are on. This is the preferred method, but would be nice to also indicate it on the dash if I could.

Just put a deposit down for an XLE Hybrid. I've been looking long and hard for this swap. Shouldn't be any reason it wouldn't work with the hybrid right? Nice work figuring it all out!! This'll be one of my first mods for sure looks so damn good. Got a feeling I'll be dumping more money into this car than I'd like to admit.

What’s in the video is a hybrid so yes it should be pound-for-pound the same approach in your case.

I just received my order of the thicker oem adventure flares that I’ll be putting on my oem hybrid body and bumpers; so couple questions: At 11:19 , what drill bit size did you use? And at 9:46, what do you recommend I do to attach the adventure fender flare to my oem hybrid front bumper? Did the clips on the new front wheel flares just click into the original holes on the body portion? I’m assuming I’d have to drill holes on the front bumper side to make it fit, correct? (Like you did for the back bumper)

I swapped out my grill for the trd aftermarket and now I get the pre collision sensor error - "clean sensor". I tried using 2 plexiglass- blacked out to protect it but it's still exposed behind the grill on the side. I still maintained the existing housing bracket but not covered completely. Anyone come up with a solution or had this issue?

Taco Vinyl will be coming out with a sensor bracket soon. You could always try and get it recalibrated at your local dealer if the problem persists?
