In this video we will see how to make rava pudding recipe in tamil. This is a simple pudding recipe made from rava / semolina. This caramel pudding is so delicious but easy to make and melts in your mouth. This pudding can be made without oven in an idli cooker. This pudding is made from simple household ingredients and can be made in no time. I have added an egg in this recipe ( no gelatin in needed), substituting eggs with curd slightly messes with the texture of the recipe.

Those who are going to try don't add water to caramelize sugar .I am telling in my personal experience It is little difficult to make caramel.I tried four times to caramelize sugar but turned out crystal .But I don't lose my hope . Tried Yesterday without adding water to sugar .Came out well and delicious 😋 my family members love it

Hi steffi, Thanks for the awesome recipe i made it today with little modification used jaggery for caramel, brown sugar in the replacement of white n cardamom instead of vanilla essence... my husband and 18 mnths old baby loved it n she is fighting for more😄.. i usually follow sme of ur recipes but this s my 1st comment ever to ur channel becoz of this wooooow taste😍 Hi guys, I just want to share some tips for those who didn’t get the perfect outcome.. I tried with foil covering the top of cake pan n made some small holes on it, then i poured water in vessel tat covers half of the pan and pre-boiled water so it took exactly 35 mins to bake on low flame.. hope it helps..
