Ingredients
1 cup of rava
2 tbsp of oil
1 tsp of mustard seeds
1 tsp of chana dal
1 tsp of urad dall
5 cashew nuts
2 slit green chillies
3 sticks of curry leaves
1 finely chopped onion
½ tsp of ginger paste
1/3rd cup of chopped carrot
1/4th cup of green peas
½ tsp of sugar
3/4th tsp of salt
Take a pan and add 1 cup of rava. Dry roast it for 3 minutes on low flame and then keep them aside.
In the same pan add 2 tbsp of oil along with 1 tsp of mustard seeds, 1 tsp of chana dal, 1 tsp of urad dal and 5 cashew nuts. Fry it until the mustard seeds crackle and then add 2 slit green chillies, 3 sticks of curry leaves and fry it for 30 seconds and then add 1 finely chopped onion and fry it for another 2 to 3 minutes. Then add ½ tsp of ginger paste and fry it for another 30 seconds and then add 1/3rd cup of chopped carrot, 1/4th cup of green peas and fry it for another 3 to 4 minutes. Then add 3 cups of water along with ½ tsp of sugar and 3/4th tsp of salt and let it start boiling and then add the rava while mixing it continuously and let it cook for another 4 minutes on low flame. You can top it up with 1 tsp of ghee.
