Rave Review: YSL Parisienne Perfume

I've literally been keeping my eye on this fragrance for YEARS. I first smelled it in a magazine ad at least 8+ years ago, and I was instantly in love. I knew this was meant to be my signature scent. I finally purchased it, and I could not be happier! For my 3 oz. bottle I paid $51. Worth it all the way. I'm so envious that you got such an amazing deal on yours!

I know what you mean about wearing perfume for yourself. I've been to yoga classes that ask people not come with perfume or any kind of body scent on.

It's funny how people can say don't wear perfume it bothers people but I'm rude if I tell people their body odor makes me sick 🙄

@brittanysoule Really? I don't smell old lady at all with it... but then again I don't mind the rose notes in it. I suppose Rose could be seen as old lady. Too bad. I Love it :)

This was the *ONLY* violet rose eau de parfum that *spoke to me!* Until ysl beauty reformulated it! Every time I wore it, I got compliments from everyone, everywhere. It never smelled like an old lady to me. Not from the compliments I got. This sounds strange- It reminded me of a Parisian garden & greenhouse- the scent of bug spray, grass & suede (vinyl accord & vetiver) to a garden of violets, blackberries, peonies & roses. Then the dry-down to that powdery, soft musk scent. But the catch was the scent started all over again! It wasn't overpowering, lasted all day long & made your clothes smell great. Now, it doesn't smell fab anymore. It smells like vinegar & garbage bags. I'm still hurt they changed the formula. I will start to make my own perfume.

I recommand u to buy it from ysl store or in a very good drugstore ...prob...but for me the fragrance still gorgeous

@@SChild5. Have you tried n°19 powder / poudré Chanel ? Or Cristalle vert ? There's Iris , Musc , Vetiver green notes in ? Every fragrance is re formulated ...to follow customers preference. PARISIENNE WAS MY FAV TOO

Oh really I thought Chanel was very sophisticated ....I love Gabrielle essence and n°5 toilette version..Then I dt really know what for suggestions...There's Boucheron perfumes if you like...But the lighest scent could be Boucheron Quatre Rose ...or Bohème love it...💕 Thanks for replying hope u 'll find soon ur jam
